I have to be honest, Indian is not my first or even second choice of meal/takeaway. They always arrive too oily. After a couple of recommendations we ordered a takeaway from Bay of Bengal. The meal arrived within the timeline given and was delicious. No oil floating on the top and lots of flavour. A few extras thrown in too and the delivery driver was lovely! Highly recommend.

Fantastic Indian restaurant in the heart of St Helier. Best Indian meal I think that I have ever had. Great staff, friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended. Good price too. Five stars!

I have been meaning to review Bay of Bengal for well over a year. Their food is amazing! Not greasy like so many Indian take aways. It always arrived piping hot and on time, if not early. And their dishes are full of authentic clean and fresh flavours, I have not had a bad experience with them for the entire time I have been using them.

In a weekend In Jersey, we went to Bay of Bengal twice, it was so good! The service was very friendly, The staff took time to get to know us and were attentive with glasses and drinks. The food was very tasty, the chicken bhuna was the best i have had in years. Very clean inside, would thoroighly recommend.

Had a lovely meal here while in Jersey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was great. Food was very good value for money . Would definitely recommend a visit .

Decent curry. Overpriced for what it was and the starter was an ordinary sheet kebab cut in 4 to make it seem bigger. Outrageous better curry houses In Sunderland that represent true taste and value

Our experience at this restaurant was a joy from the start. We were given a warm welcome and sat at a table and given a menu. The restaurant is decorated in a stylish and contemporary style and has a good friendly atmosphere. Waiting staff were easily on hand take our orders and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Fine dining at its best. The menu consists of chefs specials, a selection of speciality Bengali dishes as well as all the favourites that you’d expect at an Indian restaurant. I happily recommend the Chicken Bhuna and the special friend rice. I will certainly be visiting again.
