Great selection of real ales, it was a quiet night but can be buzzing
Just a great little beer pub. Great welcome.
Excellent, traditional pub. No TVs playing football or karaoke! A good range of real ales too. Also a good range of whiskies and gin. This pub doesn't serve food though.
Unassuming local pub with amazing whisky selection. Cash only.
Excellent pub, very friendly staff!
Good place, just be aware its cash only.
Busy little old style pub with good selection of cask ales, large selection of good whisky and Armagnac.
26th September nipped in for a pint mid afternoon Cash only Pint of Fosters £4.95 dearer than most other bars in town Surprised to find nice beer garden out the back
Lovely traditional pub - very old. Great range of drinks including draught ale & more whiskey's than I've ever seen.
This is a small cozy, inviting place which has kept integrity. You will find very fine real ales, beers and lagers. You will find an astonishing range of whiskeys and gins. You will find a proper pub, well supported by the locals. Well worth a visit.
Proper boozer, good choice of beers, very pleasant, a great barmaid with sense of humour, reasonable prices, great choice of whiskey.
Sunny, hidden beer garden with gorgeous flowers and twittering birds. Cash only macs seriously affordable prices.
Still in its original style of an old pub. Its always packed and loud which os good. Great drinks. Great service. Tiny beer garden in the back which could be better but will do
Great back st pub. No children allowed so good if you fancy a quiet pint. Best pint of HSB I've had in ages.
Good old fashion pub with a hidden gem. Very popular due to their real ale selections and the hidden beer garden. Can get very busy at times. Staff is great and the locals are friendly.
Good for a casual drink, lots of variety especially with ales. Personally, I don't mind but some people do, the Prince of Wales doesn't accept cards, you must have cash!
