The Sloop Inn - St Ives - Photo album

A great bar on the harbour front. Lovely to sit outside but equally lovely inside. Highly recommended the seafood sharing platter. All the staff were friendly and service was quick even when busy
Fairly decent seafood, not the best since we’ve been here but there’s a lot of competition! Couldn’t get a restaurant booking but there was plenty of space at the bar which catered to the same menu. Good came quickly. Was tasty but a shame the lobster was overdone on both our dishes. Good value for
Great spot for a drink on the harbour. Staff are really friendly and will chat away to you at the bar. Inside has a really cosy feel which is great for cooler days. Only downside is that it gets extremely busy on sunny days.
Captain's Table restaurant at the Sloop Inn was absolutely delightful! Atmosphere was gorgeous, and the food was divine. I had the scallops with pea puree and the seafood paella, Latter was a really healthy portion! Husband had the mussels and sea bream- it was all. so. GOOD! Prices were very rea
We had an early dinner having been impressed with the choices on the menu. It was very busy due to the hot weather and the upstairs restaurant was fully booked. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and with the service. A great experience.
Called in around 1pm on a Monday in July. Found a tabke for 4 inside easily. Order an Oyster, the Mussel, Crab and Prawn Tagliatelle, the ribs and a kids cheesy pasta. Pint of local pale ale, a coke and a lemonade. All came to just under £60. Service was quick and friendly. Food was outstanding.
Location... Well you could not get a better one if visiting st Ives!! Staff were super fantastic, only downfall was parking and having no cutlery or plates in our room which we had expected but staff were lovely and location made up for it all.... Even the water issue on our last day didn't dampen t
Great Place Didn't book its hotel rooms. Just a random walk-in customer. The staff were super efficient. It did not take long for us to get our order. Generous quantity of food. It's a comfort food restaurant, not a fancy one. Interesting menu and tastes good. St Ives is a busy place. It's
We went here for lunch with my son and his girlfriend who have been here before and told us how good it is. I cannot express how good our visit was, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough. Our meals were excellent, the best I have had in a long time eating out. Lovely
We’ve been twice (spaced a year apart whilst on holidays), consistently good food and portion sizes, fairly priced, cracking service. Loved Annie and the lady behind the bar with short blonde hair (Didn’t catch her name). Fantastic pub, would definitely recommend visiting.
A very snug and cosy pub ideal for a warming drink or pint after a windy winter walk. Always a nice range of ales and ciders. Good standard of pub grub too. Avoid during summer as it gets very mass market and far too busy to enjoy.
Excellent service. Just spent a week in beautiful St Ives and called for drinks most days. Staff always friendly despite being busy. Had food on the last night and absolutely delicious and worth the money. We will be back
Went here for a few drinks in the evening, bar staff were all really friendly. It's an old pub and quite dark inside but they have a lot of outside seating which is probably why it's so popular.
Great pub if you go have the mussels they are the best I ever had in
