This Indian restaurant in Gothenburg is truly one of the finest. The dishes exude an authentic flavor that met our expectations. The chicken lollipop starter was a standout, and both the tawa gosht takatak and tandoori khazana were equally impressive. The gulab jamun dessert was exceptionally soft a
Very nice food but the vindaloo could have been a bit more spicy for my tastes. Being someone who lives most of the year in Thailand and who lives on spicy foods, I found it a bit mild. Nothing wrong with the flavours though and the naan was fantastic!
Amazing food. Had tried it twice and ordered chicken, prawns, and veggie meals in addition to appetizers and were all delicious. Prices are high, though!
Five out of five, would visit again. Do not be fooled by the number of chillies next to each dish in the menu; while 4 is pretty hot, 2 chillies are more on the mild side.
Very good food!! Service did great even with the challenges us not speaking swedish.
Good place for a descent Indian food! Neat ambience and vast menu
My husband always speaks so highly about 'daawat' the name itself is so inviting, and this this exactly how we felt when we went in, not only it was so beautiful and cosy inside, but it felt like you are in a authentic restaurant in India! The aroma just made you want to grab the menu straight away,
Great flavours and good service. Our kids loved the chicken tikka masala. Quick and clean restaurant.
A small walk to the outskirt of the centre of Gothenburg. Easy access with the tram.
Perfect blend of spices, meat both chicken and lamb tasted like marinated meat, flavours were very well infused into meat. Naan and the lamb curry combination was top notch, must visit(again and again 😊)
mango lassi taste good~And I was satisfied with my seafood grill dish😋The only downside for me is the naan is not the common thick and large type.
