Review Mark Jordan - St. Peter

Our visit today was to celebrate my wife's birthday, and in terms of it being a special treat, it did not let us down. The dining room is crisp, clean and airy with several interesting artworks adorning the walls. No doubt in the daylight, the views are excellent too, but we could see only twinkling lights. We both had different starters and mains and gave very big thumbs up to each one in turn. The cooking and presentation was perfect, with gorgeous flavours flowing out with each mouthful. Washed down with an NZ Sauvignon, it was delightful. To round off the evening, the staff had prepared the Birthday Girl a selection of petit fours with a message on a plate. Thank you so much for that!

We have been coming here, to what we both regard as our "Special Place" for over 10 years and it never fails to impress ! Fabulous food, fantastic views and service that is consistently professional and attentive whilst being relaxed and understated. Well done to Mark and team for maintaining such high standards during these difficult times.

The food was amazing. I had the scallops to start followed by the loin of brill. My dining companion had the oysters followed by the loin of cod. There was nothing I could fault about the food or the service. I have only given this place 4 stars as I feel it was lacking a few finer points. For example the menu was on a piece of laminated paper and there was no table decoration. I know it's only a minor thing but when you are paying a high end price you expect a high end service. It still won't put me off from returning or recommending to others.

Went for a ‘blow caution to the wind’ full three courses. Well, that’s not true. Had the nibbles as well. I regret nothing. Every single course was amazing. The best gnocchi we’ve ever had, amazing crab on toast. The desserts were outstanding. All in all, well worth the cost

On a very hot day we were delighted to be able to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful lunch in the most perfect of settings. It was a special day and you did us proud with outstanding quality and presentation.

Love this restaurant. Great venue, professional staff and fabulous food. The scotch egg starter was perfect - crisp on the outside and runny on the inside. The bream on crushed Jersey Royals and the cod with Thai broth were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Sadly enjoyed the food so much forgot to take photos. A must visit when in Jersey.

Absolutely amazing place. Went by myself for my birthday. I had a window seat and they really looked after me. The food was the best I had tasted on the island. Will be going back on my next visit to the island.
