Great food always. Thanks for a great night. We were a party of 13. All orders were served piping hot and everyone was really impressed with the quality of the food.

In the area for a drive experience and thought we would have a bite to eat before driving home. Very friendly landlord, ordered deep fried prawns for starters, very nice. T bone steak for main course cooked medium rare just the way I like it. Really does make a change when you get exactly what you asked for. Cannot fault the experience at all... 5 stars. Would definitely return..

Went for a birthday celebration at tea time. Everyone was served food at the same time (about 20 people). I ate salmon and prawn salad which was served with warm potatoes on the side. It was delicious. The rest of the pub was pretty empty at the time. I would eat here again.

The best Sunday Carvery we’ve had in a long time. As close to Homemade as you can get. A choice of Roast Pork, Beef, Turkey and Lamb. The whole meal was outstanding. The Eton Mess is also not to be missed. Can’t wait to go back. Book well in advance!

Pleasantly surprised at just how good this pub is . The beer is well kept and the food is amazing. Home made steak and ale pie is second to none and the steak and kidney pudding waa the best I've had. Can't rate this place highly enough.

Moved into the village and was really hoping to get a feel for the local vibe in the pub, and I was not disappointed!!! Amazing food (Sunday lunch) and value, superb hosting from the staff and the owner was a charm. My mum and dad LOVED it too! great quiz night. Look forward to Friday night. Thank you. Oh, and a great aesthetic interior. ❤️

Fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful well run carvery, hosts couldn't be any more generous, at one point asking me if I was sure I'd had enough! Mash was served fresh to order, meats were succulent and - again - fresh, beef melted in my mouth. I'm not a particular fan of roast dinners, but had taken my wife there, if this is how good a roast can be then I might just be a convert!
