As a regular we went to celebrate a birthday. As always staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful and kindly hid the birthday cake we brought and brought it out singing happy birthday for desert ! We were a little dissapointed only having a Sunday dinner menu available as we wouldn't have chosen it but it was absolutely delicious! Great portions especially of the meat (unlike carverys!).

Visited this place for lunch. We took our small dog with us too and he was more than welcome to join us in the bar area. We had a portion of breaded mushrooms which were nice big mushrooms and very tasty. We ordered a beef madras which came with a nan bread, popadom Nd mango chutney. The curry was delicious. We also ordered hunters chicken which was also very nice. Nice choice of real ales too. Overall a good place to eat.

Well well well, I don’t know what to say. The Woolpack is an absolutely fantastic pub in which is a place to bring the family and friends together and enjoy the little moments. The atmosphere of the inside was beautiful. It gave off that old type of cottage/barn affect which really stood out to me and members of my family. As so did the outside. Covered in many colourful flowers and beautiful Willow trees. Also staff were brilliant, helpful and extremely kind all throughout my experience being there. The mains where out of this world. So beautifully presented and every piece was perfect positioned! I had ordered the 8oz Gammon with a Fried egg, Pineapple, Chips, Tomato’s and Garden peas. (I had asked if I could have Onion rings instead of the Tomato’s and Peas and the staff where more then welcome to help) For my Dessert I had ordered the Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice cream. It was delicious but I have one thing i’d like to say about it. Me, personally I would have preferred the top layer of my apple crumble to be crumble mix instead of oats. I fully understand and agree that this is the healthier option, but personally i would have enjoyed it more with the crumble mix. Other then that this is a brilliant place to come with family and friends for a meal and a drink out. 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Georgia Millward (13yrs old)

The Woolpack pub is a fantastic spot to enjoy a night out with friends or family. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a great atmosphere that sets the tone for a fun and relaxing evening. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time at the pub. One of the standout features of the Woolpack is the quality of the food. The menu is diverse, with a range of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. The chefs use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create dishes that are bursting with flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, a classic fish and chips, or a vegetarian salad, you're sure to find something that hits the spot. In addition to the food, the Woolpack also boasts an impressive selection of drinks. The bar features a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits, including some locally brewed options that are not to be missed. Whether you're in the mood for a pint of ale or a refreshing cocktail, the bar staff are on hand to help you make the perfect choice. Overall, I would highly recommend the Woolpack pub to anyone looking for a great night out. With its friendly staff, great atmosphere, and good quality food, it's the perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

What a great pub with a friendly welcome from Martin, Deb and the team to locals and those just passing through. The food is a great standard and there’s a good selection of drinks. The real blessing for families is the green directly outside which gives the kids a chance to run off their dinners. Big fan here!

Nice stopover for motorhome. Small car park so could not accommodate many M/H. Very friendly people, good food and reasonable prices.
