I bloody love this place! I actually travel 10 miles to get my food.
The food is hot fresh and the fish is beautiful and I love the fact that theres a chunk of lemon with it. Staff are always pleasant and I would highly recommend you visit this chippy
George is fantastic, cares about the food he serves, how his staff serve you and the quality of the food is top notch.
However, there is another man that cooks and he is nowhere near as good..
Bottom line, if george isn't there, come back another day.
Absolute banging fish and chips. We had sausage, battered chips, regular chips, battered cod, mushy peas and Curry sauce and everything was cooked to perfection. We will Definitely be returning thanks to Chris and the team!
Best chippy in Penkridge but will only go when George is In as he does the best fish by far, even our friends and family that come round comment on it, don’t mind the wait as it’s fresh and you know it hasn’t been sitting their for hours.
Chris a big thumbs up for a fabulous family of 6 fish and chip supper tonight all super fresh it was best we have had ever from Oysters 10/10. Staff were all great really polite Keep it up

Not a huge F&C fan, but always use these guys: good portions, cooked well, fair price, friendly staff and they have dealt with COVID-19 well.
Great chips and fresh fish. Always tastes better out of a box and not wrapped in paper
