Without a doubt this is one of the best (if not the best) Sushi restaurant in the area. We've been here many times and always have enjoyed the food and service. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Sushi
Never disappointed.....this is the best place to go in Staines if you like Japanese food....staff & chefs are friendly and the food is delicious....discovered the Spicy Prawn Tempura the other day..extremely moorish. Definitely worth a visit. �

I have been visiting every since it first opened, and the staff, chefs and food are always so lovely and hospitable! They are one of my favourite restaurants in the world and although I sadly don't visit the actual restaurant as much as I used to, I always ensure that we order home delivery at least once a week! Delivery is always speedy and as delicious as if it were served in-restaurant, and food is always logically packed! Thank you everyone at Sushi Nara for always making my experience a pleasant and positive one :) ����� ������

Excellent food. Tried the bento and it's good value and filling! Staff are really helpful. Decor makes you feel like you're in Japan. Great for a first sushi experience and for connoisseurs.
Favourite restaurant in the Surrey area and best Sushi joint i've been to this side of Asia. Never had a bad experience, you'll be hooked from your first visit :)

I had to nip in to work for my annual appraisal despite being on leave (thank you very much Shipman… NOT!) With that going smoothly, I had plenty of time for lunch before trying to sun my skin into submission. My initial plan was to head to the Guildford branch of Sushi Nara since it was not too far away from work, but I soon realised that parking around the area was not that easy. With my heart already set on a quick Japanese bite, I made the quick decision to drive to the original branch in Staines.

Best Sushi I've Tased. What else can I say? Great service, really friendly. You can tell when raw fish is fresh and this was unbelievably so. Brilliant
Fantastic Food!. My girlfriend and i visit sushi nara sometimes twice a week, the food is simply stunning and the staff are very friendly. They sometimes bring up treats and they really are amazing! we always order them on our next visit. The fish is so tender and will just melt in your mouth and the rice isn't just to fill you up, its tasty too. The Ebi Fri (prawns) is simply YUMMY and so moreish! What can i say, If you're passing, or just want some simple food.. come here! We travel hundreds of miles for a good dinner, and thankfully sushi nara is right on our doorstep.
Amazing. The Sashimi and Sushi was absolutely gorgeous if you don't try it you are missing out, staff so friendly and helpful, great meal, great restaurant, great food and good value for money
Quality & variety. The quality is very good, the prices are reasonable, & the staff are friendly. There is a wide variety of dishes from the basic to the more unusual. If you like Japanese food, you will enjoy it here.
A1 Sushi , its all about the food ,. Been going here since it opened , we live local , have never had a bad meal or snack , very consistant with the quality and fresh ingrediance , if you like sushi , you will love this place , they sometimes give a little supprise along the jurney of the meal ,

Friendly. I booked a table for 2 and arrived not knowing the size of the restaurant so when we were asked to sit at the bar we thought nothing of it. It turns out that we should have had a table upstairs but none were available due to it being too busy. We were offered free dessert at the end as an apology! It was a nice end to a delicious and filling meal that was par for the course regarding price i.e. standard Japanese restaurant prices.

Great traditionally made food and service, wide menu choice and cosy atmosphere. You absolutely have to try the sushi roll with tempura prawn.
What a fantastic Japanese restaurant! I had to share my thoughts because the service was top-notch, and everyone there was so friendly.
The food is seriously amazing, especially the kimchi pancake – don't miss it! What really impressed me was when the manager surprised us with a free sushi set, and that charred salmon? Oh my, it was incredibly creamy and delicious. You can bet I'll be ordering that again next time!

On this visit we tried the Kimchi, Spicy Edmame & Vegetable Futomaki and loved every bit of it. Reasonably priced, delicious food and excellent customer service.
Highly recommended and one we will be back to soon.
Love Sushi Nara. Has continued the great menu and delicious food since its days in the premises opposite. Really interesting options to choose from, something for everyone. The first timers or the more adventurous palates. Price point very average (though we always get a lot just to try different bits!). Order through the app or with the servers, really quick, convenient, friendly and tasty!
Really great food and service, i have been here many times and always had a pleasant experience. We complimented the chef's food and was given complimentary sushi which very nice. The vibe is calm and really great clean restaurant. Must try spicy prawn tempura, no name sushi. Lots of vegetarian options available
I came here on a recommendation from my friend to celebrate my birthday. I had to travel 40 minutes from Reading on the day, but it was definitely worth it. Authentic, well cooked Japanese dishes. Absolutely fantastic service! I will come here to feed all my Japanese cravings in the future, and would recommend to any and all.

A little ray of light and hope in an otherwise depressing town. I had to learn about the ordering process, via the table place-card. This was explained by the welcoming and friendly staff. The ambience is relaxed and decor is a fusion, slight cafeteria feel but not in a negative way. Food was prepared and arrived promptly, and was superb. Don’t be afraid to ask for cutlery, but do give the chopsticks a go. IMO good value for money, ingredients, taste and presentation was spot on. Not sure what this is doing in Staines, but certainly raised the standard on the high street area by 💯
Nice Japanese-Korean restaurant at Staines. Food quality is good for both sushi and cooked items like tempura, tonkatsu, rolls, beef udon and stone pot rice, all very reasonably charged. Well worth a visit for those who live in the area👍
Everything was 5 star here! I'm Korean from Houston visiting the in laws Sussex. Was deprived of Korean food for a couple of weeks. This place was so good. And my kids were able to have 🍣.

The food here is superb. I always look forward to a visit and enjoy it every time. Too many favourite things on the menu - it really is all just lovely. Great atmosphere too, and friendly staff. Would recommend to everyone! And the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Honestly, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Guildford! Everything we tried was freshly prepared and tasted amazing! We were a bit sceptical about the desserts as the reviews were 50/50 but the cheesecake and mochi we had were very tasty. The staff are also super friendly and nice!
From the charming and passionate waiting staff to the array of freshly prepared and delicious food brought to our table direct from the kitchen, Sushi Nara is a refreshing addition to the otherwise overcrowded restaurant scene in Staines-upon-Thames. Highly recommend.
Top quality food and wonderful service every time we've visited. It's over 1 hour away from us but well worth the journey.
The Sushi here is so good that we drive from London for it. The Dragon and Nara rolls are great, while you have to try the Grill Salmon Nigiri. Service can be a bit slow, but the food is awesome enough to forget anything else.
Well , I don’t eat sushi but all the other gang does. so you will be wondering what I had to eat.
Plenary of choices. Fried Udon chicken for me and chicken gyoza.

We used to dine in at least once a month before covid since they opened in Staines. Since covid, it’s mostly via Uber Eats. Usually a 5-star. However for the last 2 orders including today’s, it a a bit disappointing. The Chirashi Don’s sashimi is very very thin. The Seafood Udon was disappointing in that they used frozen mixed seafood and added a few big prawns. I generally hate frozen mixed seafood. So that made it disappointing for me. The rest are very good:

Sashimi Salad
And no wasabi with Nara. Lack of wasabi also meant we didn’t fully enjoy it fully like we usually did.
Still, I’m not giving up on Sushi Nara!
