Staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. You could tell the food we ordered was properly homecooked and not just taken out of a packet and put in the microwave, like a lot of pubs do nowadays. We had booked a table a few days previously as we were staying locally visiting Thorpe Park. The staff were very friendly on our arrival, the food when ordered came quickly and was excellent, I recommend the Wee Pee burger ! Plenty of choice of ales the locals were friendly with a relaxed atmosphere

Great community pub...Great food being banged out no frills...Beer good real ales, lagers stouts.. Gentle friendly bar staff....well done... Busy so it's well liked. .. Perhaps need a little behind bar cleaning.. I will return and try the food .. beware ...

Stopped off for a Sunday lunch whilst going for walk by the river.... Excellent Sunday Roast And the lovely ladies who run the Pub were lovely..too will visit again soon xx 😘
