I've learnt how to service my bicycle at the bike repair workshop, picked up new reading recommendations, learnt how to make eco-cleaning products, and devoured lots of delicious veggie soups and cakes. The Talking Tree Cafe is a great place for a coffee and snack (cake). The staff are really friendly and want to know about you as a person. So if Environmental issue are important to you then pop in and have a chat and if they aren't pop in for a coffee and cake.

Nice quiet cafe with vegan, and sometimes gluten free food. Cakes are lovely. You can always find someone to chat to, or just sit quietly reading. Hobby day every other Tuesday, so you can learn a new skill or do your own project. Give it a try and a lot cheaper than the big name cafes around.

They also serve food and hot drinks and all is reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I congratulate the volunteers for this much needed project in Staines.
Just discovered The Talking Tree after a year living in Staines and it's fantastic. Tea for £1.20. Cake for £2. Beans on toast for £2. Pleasant staff. Worthy cause. I look forward to more visits.
