Nice local pub in Stalybridge. I would say it is one of the best if not the best. Good adult company. Great service with a smile.
A really well run pub that serves great ales, ciders etc. They have Sky Sports for the big matches but you never feel intimidated or that there's a negatively charged atmosphere like in some bars during the sports as they have an admissions policy of no baseball caps, no man bags or under 25's.
Always warmly welcomed when we come to watch the football here! The staff are very friendly, and it's always clean too. Looking forward to coming back.

Lorraine and the girls behind the bar are fab. Been drinking here for years, always worth the money. Great place to go as a couple too, never any trouble and great to see the bags of pork scratchings are back!!

Went with a retired walking group. Ordered meal before walk. Food was good.
Generally, very nice pub. Old style pub but it has been sympathetically refurbished. Toilets very clean.

Like the Pub & Friendly Staff, always a great place for a quick lunchtime catch up & a bite too. Was sorry to be told today they are no longer doing food. I'll miss it.
