Nice cosy pub/restaurant, busy but that's because it's a popular place, went for the Sunday set menu 3 courses £22 which is a good deal. There is enough choice for everyone to pick something they like. Plenty of staff waiting on who were nice and helpful, food arrived in a timely manner and presente
Only nipped in for a drink. Nice pub. Bar staff we're friendly. Will visit again when in the area again.
Birthday treat random pub chosen. Accepts dogs big bonus. Foresters Arms Awesome choice. We had two courses for £15 each and Jazzie our dog totally loved it, when our meal arrived, Jazzie’s surprise was a bowl of doggy biscuits a lovely surprise for her. We both had the pie meals which were very n
What a find. We were waiting to pick people up and came across The Foresters by chance not really I found it and had pre booked it. It was very noisy when we arrived, there was football being watched. The bar was chockablock with people but the waitress got our table ready quickly. The match finish
Lovely Rustic Pub and very popular with plenty people in , met up with few friends for a catch up and meal , ordered our meals and wasnt disappointed, each course we all found the food was excellent and plenty , waitress even though rushed off her feet was very attentive and had a smile on her
Food is delicious here, friendly helpful staff and very good value for money, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake is amazing.
Best pie of my life! And I grew up in Wigan. Lovely atmosphere and people running it. Dying to try more dishes. The wooden bench was a little creaky so every time the kids behind me moved and jumped, it knocked mean which was annoying. That’s the only thing I can fault.
Very tasty, good value food and big portions too. I took my sweet home to finish my meal.! Good atmosphere, (on quiz night in particular) and our best friend Barney the Tibetan was allowed in and given a free treat. 😊 We went recently and the food had gone 'down hill'. They have had a few problems r
The Foresters Arms had been very much highlighted on Facebook several times for the unbelievable donating of meals for the Homeless here in Wigan, but when even looking at their menus and there reviews to seemed that everything that The Foresters Arm do is hitting the perfect note. The reception we

First visit, but definitely not the last. Staff, food and beer was excellent 👌. All the food was cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit. 5 star all day long.
The best roast I've ever had, love this place. Will definitely be back soon.
Had a couple of takeaways from here now during lockdown. The burgers would be my choice. I've had the Steak and chilli con burger and the salt and pepper chicken burger. Both really nice. Arrived on time and hot
Good quality food and lots of it. If you choose a starter it's nearly as large as a main course
Great place fantastic food and great service and a cracking pint of Guinness, will definitely be coming back
Very cosy pub with two sides, the bigger one is devoted to dining (seems popular and the food does look good) whilst drinkers congregate on the tiny bar side. A couple of TV screens for the sport but very limited space, it could get very cramped in here at busy times. The staff are very friendly and
