Beautiful pub and restaurant serving wholesome English food. The staff is super friendly. The decor is fitting and adorable featuring multi blue plaid carpeting & cozy deco. They even had dog blankets and a wood burning stove for cold nights .. of course I was here in August so it was too warm for that. The food is phenomenal. I had the steak pie with mash and seasonal veggies.. It did not disappoint. The bathrooms are clean. It has ample parking and lovely views. The prices were very good for the superb food quality. I would 100% recommend this pub/restaurant.
Went on a Friday night, had some tea and enjoyed a band. Great place, very dog friendly with lots of blankets and cushions for your furry friend. Food was very nice and proper "home cooked" style. Had a chat with some of the band and we'll be back very news.
Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs without being overbearing, five out of five this place, get yourself down there!!
First time dinning since it reopened. Food was good quality and service great too, staff friendly.

Sunday lunch was reasonable for the price.

Second visit. Hot day so sat outside. Doors to the pub and conservatory open. Food and service good but the music is still far to loud even sitting outside. Four handpumps but no cask beer as advertised.
Great bonfire night at the crown last night sat 4 Nov excellent service and hospitality well worth £5 entrance fee recomend it next year it it's still one of the functions avaliable
A little off the beaten track but we'll worth finding.
Had Sunday lunch here and it was very nice indeed.
I will be going back to try some of their other offerings.
Plenty of parking, very good attentive staff who make you feel that nothing is too much trouble.

Great pub with restaurant food good great service good menu hascrooms and dogs v welcome good parking quiet surroundings would have given 5 but outdoor space lacking
Lovely stop off for a drink or a bite to eat 😋 need to go down to the bar to order. Maybe if you had a qr code on the picnic tables, people could order through that, making it quicker ? 🤔
Fantastic family owned and run hotel/pub the food is made with top quality ingredients and the staff knowledge behind the bar is excellent and nothing is to much trouble
