We often travel up to Stanhope and always call into the Dales Centre. The staff are always pleasant and helpful (even when run off their feet). The menu has a good selection and the food is homemade, would recommend the mince pie with all the trimmings.

Various members of the family including myself have had static caravans in Stanhope over the past 30 years and been coming here since it opened. Love the place, reminds me of my childhood every time I visit. Just bought a new caravan close by (come full circle from where I first started off), so will be there a lot more starting 1st March and REALLY looking forward to it!

I love Weardale and always enjoy a visit to the Durham Dales Centre. Whilst there first of all I visit the café and nearly always enjoy a delicious bowl of tasty soup. Then I have a leisurely stroll looking at the various interesting shops. It makes for a very pleasant visit from Durham.

Only 1 person serving so I was queueing for quite sometime. Staff were pleasant and polite. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Wheelchair friendly entrance. Dog friendly. Lots of outside seating available. Free 4 hour car park nearby.

Food absolutely delicious, lovely setting and friendly staff. Delicious steak pie followed by a scrumptious steamed pudding with custard. Great value too, would highly recommend a visit.

We stopped off at Dales Centre just for coffee. When we saw the menu, I decided to try the steak pie, (my son had mince pie), both with mushy peas. Both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended 👌👏👏

Brilliant coffee shop and so helpful. Don't use the time shown on Google as they actually close at 4pm. We got there just after 4 after travelling from Washington so officially closed but the girls were great and served us and we sat outside in the courtyard in the shade which was perfect on the hot sunny day. Thank you so much.
