The Stanley Pub Victoria

Went with some friends for said friend's birthday dinner, the dinner was really really good, the server was very nice and jovial, but my fiancee had the super green pasta dish and a little leech-grub like thing wriggled out of her food. But the server was very apologetic and got her a brand new plate, wriggle-free 😂 overall a lovely place to eat, would definitely eat at again!

Charming and authentic country pub - Greg (publican/owner) is a lovely host who provided us with friendly, relaxed and convivial service when dining at the pub (twice) recently. Food was delicious and generous in serving size. We tried the steak sandwich (tasty but be warned as it is huge), lamb burgers (loved these - full of flavour and served in an excellent Milawa Bread Foccaccia) and spiced chicken served with a delicious crunchy salad. Fire was lit in the dining room and it was perfectly cosy. Very friendly, good food and relaxed atmosphere.

We cycled to the pub recently and were delighted to see it reopen after lockdown. It doesn't seem to have skipped a beat. The service was super friendly and the food delicious. We sat in comfort in the beer garden under the shade of umbrellas. I'd suggest you book ahead to avoid disappointment as this Pub is popular.
