Found this place by mistake with my elderly mother- definitely one of the best cafes in the north east lovely food at a decent price- will definitely be going again and again

Warm, friendly welcome and a nice atmosphere. Lovely ham, egg and the best chips I have eaten for years. Like the sort mum used to make you. Well worth a visit. ππ

Lovley little home cooked food . I had a toastie plenty filling lovley atmosphere really good banter . Little boys birthday the staff sang to him it was lovley well worth a visit . Will be going back π

Great lovely little cafe near Tanfield. I stopped in for a coffee and a bacon sandwich while I waited for New tyres. Staff very friendly, excellent service and great value.
