Super lovely neighborhood cafe. Coffee's really good and the chunky french toast is absolutely gorgeous and has the right amount of fluff, crisp & maple sweetness. Will swing by again to try the banana ricotta!

This cafe has been a local favourite for a while as we have always experienced great food and service. Unfortunately a recent experience has left me never wishing to return. Visited mid week to purchase 2 take away coffees and when paying I handed over my ‘Coffee loyalty card’ only to be told by the Owner that she was not accepting them at the moment due to COVID-19. I understand only too well that it is a difficult time for everyone. I am currently on ‘stand down’ yet I am still choosing to support a local business during these times. It’s a shame that the Owner doesn’t feel the same.

This cafe is on my way to Stanmore station, I spontaneously stop by and have coffee and meal. I guess eggs Benedict could be better but thank you for a lovely service as always.

walked to this small, local Cafe from Parramatta Rd (5-10 minutes) to get coffee and a bite while waiting for car to be serviced. I ordered the bacon and egg roll and coffee deal for $11. The coffee was great - quite strong but smooth, not bitter and the B&E roll was very generous. during this time of covid19 madness, places like this are certainly challenged by physical distancing and sanitising requirements but the folk here take it all in their stride and are friendly, obliging and seem calm and professional. would definitely recommend based on the quality of food and service sampled here. keep up the good work, thanks!

Not a very friendly cafe. I came here during my lunch break, and I asked the person at the counter if it would be okay for me to check my emails on my laptop while I eat. The person at the counter told me that they don't like when people "overstay" due to limited seating. They also have notes posted on the walls and windows that say "Do not overstay". I asked if I could sit for one hour, the person at the counter implied a no and said that if it gets busy then I'll have to leave to make space for more customers. Because of this interaction, I rushed to finish my plate and coffee, and I felt like I was being watched the whole time - so I left in under 30 minutes. I completely understand not wanting people to overstay, but be aware before you come here that this cafe will not let you sit for more than 30 minutes. When you leave, there's no form of interaction or smiles - which is fine, but I personally prefer cafes where the baristas interact with you in a friendlier way. That said, the coffee is well made - but next time I'll go to a cafe with kinder owners.

Great french toast, there are two types, one strawberry with maple syrup and one banana cinnamon with honey. Both are fantastic. Fresh and tasty strawberries really made the difference - it can be hard to find quality fruit these days but this place has done well. Good sized portions, you won't leave unsatisfied. Fair prices and friendly staff. Support this local business.

By chance I was walking past and this place caught my eye. It's a very warm and welcoming cafe from the street, very tidy and not cluttered. Service was friendly and almost instantaneous, which is not always easy to find in a plethora of cafes in the Inner West. Being a tea drinker, you take your chances but their selections of leaf teas were devine and came in an enormous cast iron pot. Breakfast was smashed avocado with dukkah and balsamic glaze, poached eggs with a side of bacon and mushrooms. Was beautifully cooked and on the table in 10 mins. Will be visiting here again soon, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing cafe with delicious food that's great value, with a good range of options and prices. Really friendly service, and hands down the best (and most consistent!) coffee in Stanmore.
