This is my first visit as it was highly recommended by the family! We had Sunday Roast (which you have three options by the way; plenty of veg and a gravy on the side to top up what's on your plate) and the mind-blowing (I say this coz look at the portion!) BBQ ribs. Honestly, the food was amazing!

A very pretty pub with excellent food! The service was impeccable and they managed to fit us in even though it was a busy sunday afternoon! Definitely recommend going!
Lovely Sunday lunch. Really friendly and the food was great. Also a good selection of vegetarian as well as classic options.
We had a great time. The blonde woman, probably the owner (I didn’t asked her name), was really nice and welcoming. Me and my wife had a great time and the best nachos ever. Portions are quite big and food is delicious. We’ll be back very soon.
Great food, lovely service, lovely play gym for kids to play on whole eating. Great vibes. Will definitely eat here again.
Excellent village pub, a nice seasonal menu with a good menu for kids as well. Nice selection of drinks (wines beer and gin) and garden looks good for the summer (a bit cold to sit out there today) Dogs welcome and lovely bar staff too.
Just had great meal with friends at The Rose & Crown. Burgers were unbelievable and great crispy chips.

The best roast dinner I have had since moving to Essex a few months ago. The landlady was really accommodating, as I hadn’t booked, and the service was great. A really friendly and welcoming place. I will be returning to enjoy again.
