Irrawaddy Taste Of Burma

What a gem of a find. The food is excellent...never tried Burmese food before...the spices smell intriguing and taste even better. I had the Tea Leaf Beef with coconut rice. My wife had the salmon..Both were stellar. The service was great, fast and friendly. This was my second time here, and it won't be my last.

Thought we would try this place out as a option for something different. We were pleasantly surprised! Roseanne our server was delightful. She recommended all the dishes that were favorites and describe them well for us. My wife enjoyed a glass of Cabernet wine with her dinner. Nice that they have that and beer on offer. The service was smooth and we enjoyed our visit. We plan to go back!

So we tried this place and the waitress recommended we try the tea salad. I'm quite picky so we were hesitant and said okay we will get a small one. Omg I would have missed out. We ate the whole thing it was delicious! We also had the Burmese pad thai, beef Masala, Thai tea and dessert. It was full of flavor, melted like butter and just delicious. The atmosphere was nice, quiet and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Thumbs up from me and my husband. We recommended it to some friends and they have already went and tried it and loved it.

Irrawady had been on my must try list for years. I'm happy to say that but only the food but also the service exceeded my expectations. The tea leaf salad was great. I'm not a big salad person but the texture from all of the different nuts was very unique and the dressing was nice and light. My FAVORITE item was by far the pork and pumpkin stew. The pork was super tender and not fatty and the pumpkin tremendously flavorful. There are so many things on the menu that I still want to try.

We had been craving for Aomori Burmese food since our trip to San Francisco recently. This had been on our list for awhile so we decided to finally visit. Service was quick and super friendly. We were taking our time trying to decide on what to get and our server was so patient with us. Food was delicious. We ordered Mandalay Noodles, Falafel, Tea Leaf Salad, Sweet Basil Beef, Eggplant Curry, and Coconut Rice. My favorite was the Curry. Super excited that we have a Burmese Restaurant here in OC. I will definitely be back and will also be introducing family and friends to this restaurant and this cuisine.

So boyfriend kept bragging about Burmese food and he misses it a lot from Hawaii so decided to surprise him. This hidden gem is amazing. The food is so good it’s a like a cross between Thai Indian and Chinese so delicious the service is amazing and def coming back their salad and everything is so wonderful. Place is super clean and the atmosphere is great def if you in the area check em out
