Absolutely amazing we loved the look the atmosphere and best of all the food. First time going and we will be back. Great little hole in the wall with home cooked food like granny makes. Don't change a thing...

We stopped here as we came into town to visit the RRG Area. And Ms. Regina was absolutely a treasure. She waited tables for what seemed like the entire restaurant. She was fantastic. The food was good. I would definitely stop there again!

If you like to eat where the locals go and avoid the "chain places"--this is the place for you! Everyone was so friendly here and the meals here are traditional home cooked foods. Don't go in expecting a posh place with candles and expensive wine---because you won't get it. This is a great mom and pop single room diner with great pricing, good food, and great company. Thanks for being so welcoming and inviting us to come visit again! Keep in mind they only take cash (or check---but not from out of towners).

We enjoyed it so much we came twice. Fabulous beef Manhattans and their cheesy potatoes are to die for. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Great staff as well. JUST MAKE SURE TO HAVE CASH. They do not take cards.

Their prices went up a little recently but they rarely raise the prices AND it's still way cheaper and way better than fast food. The ladies have always been great there. Cash and local checks only. Don't complain, it probably helps the prices stay low. I just don't like where I can't leave a tip on the checks so I have to make sure to have some cash.

We went there on a whim, with wife and three kids. This woman that was serving us was helping everybody in the restaurant, she was the only one. Amazing food worth a little bit of wait. Great service. And you cant beat the price!!! This alone is worth the trip to the gorge!!!!!!!!!!

If you value your time and can actually taste food, then I cannot recommend this place. The food not only took an hour and a half (litteraly an hour and twenty eight minutes, it was biscuits and gravy), but it was cold, straight from a can off the shelf and there were no coffee refills. The ONLY redeeming quality of this place is the little old lady who works the front. It's also pretty obvious most of these 5 star reviews are from people who have never left Stanton, so please keep that in mind.

We are from out of town and we’re surprised by the lack of air conditioning and just how hot it was in the restaurant. Everyone was nice but service was slow (took over an hour to get food for 4 people). Food was good, but limited selection for anyone who might be vegetarian or gluten intolerant (was hoping for fresh fruit as an option).
