This Pub has been taken over and has been done out very nicely, there is an all new great atmosphere with lots going on every week.
Went in for a steak tonight and it was so nice, home cooked chips, onion rings and the works.

Recently visited the gate after bad experience with previous landlord-lady, must say the pub has been turned around and doing really well. Been tidy-up inside and out. Landlady and landlord very pleasant and welcoming. Can't wait to return when they have got the food up and running 😊
Came here off the cuff whilst passing and what a find! Plenty of drink options, decent menu at reasonable prices plus a kids menu. We had 2 kids meals plus a main and dessert each (burger and chips for the kids followed by ice cream sundaes - mushroom, broccoli and cheese Wellington followed by rhub
Awsome food and friendly staff. A few wasps kept us on our toes but apart from that we will be going back again minus the wasps that is lol 👍

Great little pub with lovely beer garden. Good varied menu ..Can really recommend the scampi! The really friendly staff looked after us during our visit. Lock down rules were firmly adhered to at all times, Thanks to all.
