I purchased a Groupon for a 2 course Sunday carvery lunch for 2. We had a friendly welcome and were shown quickly in to the restaurant, which was clean and light decor We had garlic mushrooms which were nicely presented and tasted lovely. We were not rushed to finish and select our carvery which was nice. The beef was tender and there was a good selection of well cooked vegetables. The waiting staff very polite and asking was our meal OK. Good value for money and a lovely pub

Highly recommend we enjoyed a carvery, lots of meat and vegetables, then we enjoyed a dessert that was delicious. Friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Was a great place alas now closed. One thinks it will suffer the fate of most pubs in Leicester, a Tesco Metro, Housing or worse still like the Coach and Hores, Daniel Lambert a Mosque! Time Mullahs Please!

Very welcoming, friendly. Beer was really good, didn't try the food. That would add the extra star.
