The staff are friendly and the food is tasty yet inexpensive. The atmosphere is friendly and the decor is classy and cosy. Its the perfect place to go wether to relax and sample their breakfast buffet or have a classy dinner and it even has a soft play area and a jungle gym and some claw machines for the kids. Its amazing and i highly recommend

Excellent service, welcoming and warm team and great quality food. We were served by Chloe (who couldn't have done more) but all team members were first class!

I stay at the hotel and come in for drinks and food and there are certain staff that stand out always smiling and always happy to help one of the is Gemma she is always under pressure but always smiles and happy to help thank you Gemma

Been a few times but my trip on Monday was definitely the best. Went with my 2 kids (2&4) on my own to eat in the soft play area. The staff member on who had only worked there for 2 days was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. She played and interacted with the kids and was chatty and made us feel very welcome. The food was OK, not sure who's idea it was to stack kids pizza like a Christmas tree, just ripped all the toppings off every other slice. Was a great time regardless.

I come here for the toddler morning every Friday. My daughter loves it. Her favourite place. And so reasonably priced!!

Monday to Friday, 2 meals for £8.99 certain dishes you can double up for an extra 99p, what a bargain, great portion sizes, starters & sweets £1.99 each

Free parking. Lots of space. Nice food. Friendly staff. Unlimited tea is good for me :-)

Was in for carvery yesterday the chef was very helpful and food was fresh! Not like other carvery places nearby , staff were very attentive , girl ‘helena’ on the bar was a breath of fresh air , fast service and always smiling ! Well done we had a very pleasant meal. Will definatly be returning

The venue for my nieces wedding was perfect. It was beautiful, the wedding meal was almost spot on as a celebratory meal I would have like something more than pasta. We stayed the night before and used the restaurant, the food was delicious, very tasty, well presented and decent price, however the service was VERY slow took us approx 2 1/2 hour to complete our meal, starter arrived almost an hour after we ordered and the time before courses was too long. The rooms were clean enough, but the family room consisted of a double bed and two mattresses which appeared to be on the floor, albeit very comfy sleep. The staff were great and so helpful couldn’t do enough for us. Despite all this I would definitely go back and would highly recommend.

Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. Probably the cleanest I've stayed in. Bed was so comfy, had a great sleep. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very tastey. Could do to have a better continental selection for the price but overall a lovely stay and would defenatly return if in the area.

Stayed here for 7 weeks while working away from home. Everything was fantastic about it breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and was delicious. The staff are all really friendly and Hazel the bar maid was so friendly helped me from not feeling home sick. Rooms were spot on and cleaned every day to high standards would recommend a stay here anytime �

Would thoroughly recommend the Garfield House hotel for any event. We held our wedding reception there on Saturday night and have absolutely no complaints. The whole evening could not have run more smoothly and the food was incredible, all thanks to the amazing staff at the Garfield, especially John and Kara. Thanks so much, from the Duffys!

We attended my cousins wedding here on Friday. The place was gorgeous and the wedding was too. One of the loveliest meals we've had and the staff were great, one girl in particular called hannah, she couldn't do enough for us. Thank you.

Fantastic stay this weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were genuinely interested in how your time there went. The food was also amazing and generous portions. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be back again to stay.

Lovely hotel and staff were wonderful, my hubby, myself and children ( 2 and 4) had been camping for 2 weeks in a campervan in France before our sleep over at hotel so the children were very excited and very loud. The staff were great with them and they even gave them ice cream for pudding to take to the room . The children had the children's menu which I picked the 2 starters to see if they would try them, melon and soup but it was mushroom and tarragon. Needless to say they both fought over the soup and asked for more. The lovely staff gave us some home this morning,now that is service . Thank you for a lovely night .

I’m getting married there on the 2nd of June and attended the wedding 🎩 👰 fayre there yesterday I had a fab day managed to get loads done on my list everyone was so helpful and nice would deco recommend this venue

We have just spent one night at the Garfield Hotel, there was a wedding party, a 21st party and a 90th party happening. There was no disturbance from any of the celebrations, the staff are lovely and friendly and the food was first class. We will definitely be back.

We got married here almost 7 years ago, everyone still talks about fantastic it was, the staff where outstanding from start to finish. John in particular made our day go without a hitch and everything was timed to perfection. Food was spot on, our suite was gorgeous . Only disappointment was not getting our overnight stay on our first anniversary. But couldn’t fault our wedding day, the Garfield truly helped create beautiful memories ��
