Why I have never eaten red velvet cake I do not know....but this was a great place to start! DELICIOUS CAKE!!! The Panini's are also the best in the high street so well worth a visit to the coffee/tea shop.
Went in today and got a jacket and some boots with help from the lovely Lizanne. Helpful and welcoming, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be my go to shop from now on.

I recently went in for a new helmet and Tom was there to help me decide and fit me.
I have always had an Arai helmet and went in looking at the QV pro. With help from Tom I found I no longer fitted the Arai and he fitted me in a Shoei GT air.
I was between 2 sizes and unlike a lot of shops that would have sold me the larger size that was really too big, Tom changed the crown lining for a thinner one in the smaller size. I therefore essentially got a custom fit.
Excellent customer service. I can't recommend them highly enough, I was even given a free cup of coffee from their Costa grade cafe. If that wasn't enough their prices are very competitive so you aren't even paying more for this service. Well done Bikestop.
Best. Cakes. Ever! Much better than Costa's. Would definitely recommend their red velvet cake and chocolate chip cookies. The staff are so welcoming too!

Amazing customer service who go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Went into to buy new helmet but wasnt sure what i wanted, but thanks to one member of staff in particular (who i am unable to remember his name) picked out a helmet that hadnt even been put on the shelf for me at the price i could afford without trying to haggle me up. Highly rate this shop and will definitely be going back.
Just bought my 3rd crash helmet from here, although i purchased it from their website, i popped in there the night before to try some on 10 mins from closing, and as usual the staff where very helpful with no feeling of trying to rush me.

Brilliant shop, the staff are very knowledgeable and also very professional. They will do their upmost to give you the best service, advice, care and even aftercare that they can possibly give.
The only clothing store me and my girlfriend will use, we travel over an hour to use these guys and have dealt with every one of the lads that work here.

This shop is a real Aladdin’s cave! Wide range of Dainese and other brands of bike gear. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who really look after their customers well. The coffee is good too.

Bought a new schberth C3Pro helmet. Price match the item and I am grateful to Martin for doing so. The service from Peter to ensure the helmet was proper and correct fit was top notch. Purchased Tom Tom 450 also. The coffee is always good so certainly worth a ride to the shop to indulge and look around. Keep up the good work guys.

Great store, great staff. Always been particularly impressed with Tom, who's always gone out of his way to look after me and answer all my questions whenever I've visited. Would highly recommend and in fact do to everyone I know who rides.
Friendly staff and a great shop. Wide range of bike gear. The place is bigger than it looks from outside! Staff are really helpful and happy to assist with queries. Happy that they have a range of Ruroc helmets, and good deals. Handy bike parking outside, too.
My first visit to to Bike Stop. It's located in the old part of Stevenage in the middle of a high street. There is specific motorcycle parking but there's also parking all along the shop fronts. The shop downstairs is small but upstairs makes up for it. A whole range of quality clothing is on display as well as a small selection of accessories. On my visit I found the staff to be very polite, friendly and chatty. The shop has a cafe with seating inside and out.. and yes they have a selection of cakes :) So that alone makes it a must!
As I said, they stock quality clothing so bring a fat wallet. They also have an online store in case it's raining and you can't stand the thought of getting your precious ride wet.

I visited Stevenage Bike Stop for the first time last month, looking for riding jeans and a lightweight summer jacket. Their clothing range for ladies wasn’t large but the items available were varied in price to suit your budget and the quality was great. I’d tried on jeans and jackets at another motorcycle store but nothing felt right size wise. I thought I’d be looking forever.
I found a pair of jeans straight away at BikeStop and they fitted perfectly. I also found a top quality leather jacket but needed the next size up.
The manager Martin ordered me one and said it might take a few weeks.
He called me a week later as the jacket was in. I tried it on and it fitted like a glove.
Cameron served me and said it was his idea to order in the particular jacket that I purchased. I was very happy Cameron’s suggestion was taken up as I’m very pleased with not only the items I purchased but the great customer service. BikeStop is friendly, welcoming and staff are helpful. Plus it’s got a great cafe too. What’s not to love!

We purchased online a Ghost XL but it had stopped working. I had lost the paper work but they kindly were able to trace the date and purchase.
Having looked at it Martin arranged for me to have a replacement. No quibbles and no issues.
Nothing was too mich of an issue, both Martins we friendly, approachable and clearly have pride in their customer service and shop ethos.
I highly recommend this little gem of an independent bike shop and recommend looking at their website, the shop has so much and its a beautiful ride down from the Midlands!!

Good shop with a bunch of good gear. I didn't buy anything as I was just nosing around and couldn't make up my mind but I overheard some of the staff helping guys with helmets and jackets etc... and it was good to see knowledgeable ppl on hand to help. There were about 4 staff there!! Which is so refreshing as everywhere in the UK seems to be moving to online and self service.
Worth popping in and trying gear ti get exactly what you need.
Whenever I need bike clothing or accessories, Bikestop is top of my list on where to go. I've been visiting them for years and always receive great service. Joel recently did me a great deal on a pair of Alpinestars boots and I'm very happy with my new purchase.
I have visited BikeStop a once or twice in the last year to have a look around but this weekend was the first time speaking to anyone in the shop and their helpfulness and knowledge exceeded my expectations. Not only was their monthly ride-out a great experience for my first ever bike meet. Afterwards I was looking for some protective trousers and Pierre went above and beyond to find a pair which I liked. At a first glance they weren't available but Pierre went out the back to check and I was able to ride home well protected from head to toe. Great shop and excellent staff!
I usually use an online retailer that has a few stores as it’s quick and convenient. However I needed something last minute and used these guys. Great service and provided there opinion on the products, the great service came when I had an issue with the product, emailed in and Martin/Cameron were great in resolving it. Morale of the story is that I will now use these guys rather than SBS purely for the service.

Really fast service, great to deal with. I found bikestop as I was looking for a helmet in a specific colourway which is a bit tricky to get a hold of at the moment, and ordered early/mid afternoon on the Wednesday, with a listed expected delivery for Friday. Imagine my surprise when a helmet sized and shaped box dropped at my door less than 24 hours later. Brilliant service, and on a contact to the same effect, what appears to be a team that cares about their customers. I'll definitely be pointing my friends and group of fellow riders in their direction.

Excellent experience buying on line. Bought a Knox Honister jacket. Unfortunately, live too far away to just pop in although may well be a destination for a ride out! I highly recommend Bike Stop.
I purchased a drift ghost xl camera some months ago from bikestop. Speedy delivery issues with the camera recently resolved so quickly. Swapped out for a new one with no quibble. Took my missues to start getting her biker gear. Everyone was welcoming and patient, especially Cameron who dealt with multiple wardrobe changes and gave solid advice. I will definitely be coming back again!!!
I had a rather unusual warranty claim with an AGV helmet. Initially the guys at Bike Stop were unsure how to progress it to help me. The same day I got an email from Martin saying he was taking personal responsibility for ensuring my warranty claim was resolved. And he did, keeping me updated during the process.

Friendly, knowledgable staff and a decent range of kit - even for small ladies. Two lovely young lads, Joel and Calum (apologies if I've got those names wrong, I have the memory of a goldfish) spent a good forty minutes helping me find a helmet to fit my ridiculously tiny head.
Came away from another shop empty handed because they only went down to a small, but the Bike Stop had plenty of extra small helmets to try on and when they came up big one of the lads found me an extra extra small. I didn't even know that size existed.

Bikestop is the best bike shop I've been to. Having a husband whose a biker spurred me on to get my bike. Having visited other shops for my kit I've found them unhelpful and very disinterested in wanting to help. I'd visited Bikestop a few times for bits for my husband but went in knowing what I wanted got it paid and went. However I visited on ladies day at weekend and Cameron was amazing. He was running about all over the show for us to find boots, gloves and all the gear for myself and my friend. Cameron is a credit to Bikestop along with everyone else! Thank you all at Bikestop.
