Enjoyed a lunch here with family. Good food and friendly staff - I had the chicken burger which was really tasty - nice crispy chicken and good chips with it. The cakes and bread look great, and its really cool to look through the big internal windows to the working bakery.
Excellent breakfast. Amazing modern oak timber building. Great to be able to see the kitchens. Plenty of people popping in for bread and also food.
What a lovely cafe... the food was freshly baked/prepared that day. The quiche was excellent, so tasty with a "melt in the mouth" texture. The flapjacks were great (not rock solid) and the staff were super friendly. I opted for tea and my children had coffeez. Apparently iced coffee is rarely asked
Truly delicious - warm chocolate brownie with cream. Having watched the bakery being built over the past few months it was not disappointing to finally visit. A beautifully crafted building and of course delicious cakes. What a treat!

Delicious barista coffee takeaway only at the moment. However there are lots of bench seats available outside. An Oasis in Steventon.
Recently opened establishment in a nice new building. Inside is spacious and airy, nicely furnished in a rustic style, but somehow lacking a bit of character. Perhaps some flowers on tables or art on walls would help.
I'm sure the location will develop its character over time.

I ordered 3 different flavour large quiches on line for a baby shower and collected them from the bakery. The temptation to pass them off as homemade was there but anyone who knows me would have seen through that fantasy. They looked beautiful, sliced well and tasted amazing. Two guests asked where
This used to be called Steventon Bakehouse i think. Haven't visited since those days actually, they made delicious bread, cakes and pie's then and they still do now in a much expanded new premises, coffee shop, hot food and outside seating. Delightful place, be hungry ! 😁 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Brilliant coffee. The baked breads are lovely. Very good service. I would have given it 5 stars, but sadly the bread of the salmon sandwich felt and tasted a little stale, or as if it had been kept in the fridge.
Quintessential country bakery, combined with a lovely cafe. Great breakfasts and lunches, fabulous bread, scones and the biggest Chelsea buns I have ever seen!. Excellent coffee served in very stylish cups. Service is spot on too. They have outside seating too.

Beautiful building and high end licensed coffee shop and artisan bakery with open fires.. Quality coffee and homemade cakes. Varied breakfast and lunch menu. Costs a little more than other venues but you get value for money. Highly recommend.
Lovely place. Great atmosphere and lovely food. The sign for the cafe should be bigger though as all the people in my group passed the place and had to turn back! But totally worth it.
Really lovely fresh produce, a lovely building and very attentive staff! I feel a bit mean giving 4* but no all day breakfast menu which I was hoping for. Will definitely get there earlier next time as it was all super yummy !
