The Hub Cafe

The Hub is a community space for the area. It is extremely welcoming both in terms of visual layout and the friendliness of the volunteers who run it. The food and drinks are excellent and very reasonably priced. The café is well thought out, easy to feel relaxed, and has an area for toddlers to play. The other benefits are several well equipped separate rooms where groups or meetings can take place. The only thing that would be an added benefit would be a bit of outside space and longer opening hours, but the volunteers are wonderful for making this venue available for people to enjoy.

Great space. The HUB is in the church in Upper Beeding. If that puts you off don't let it. It doesn't feel churchy! It's a contemporary church and a pleasant space. It's run by volunteers and very friendly. Good, flat access. Exceptional value and good array of light bites, tea, coffees, freshly made cakes etc.

Great little community tea and coffee place. Don't expect corporate sharpness, do expect a friendly welcome and good drinks. If you have kids, there are indoor and outdoor play areas that cater to all ages. It is easy to sit and watch the kids while enjoying yourself (in the 5-10 secs the kids will give you...)
