Great pub ! The food our table ordered was a success with everybody, I had the Lamb Henry which was gorgeous and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Just enjoyed my Sunday lunch with a party of 5 - 3 adults and two children aged 3 and 5. Recommend their poached haddock fillet and fruit crumble. Was also able to get a pint of bitter - their own beer.

what a Gem … we were on holiday in the area and popped in for a evening meal, it was beautiful, proper food, cooked well, and presentation on the plate was A1, service was really lovely and really worth a visit but I imagine they fill up quickly so a call ahead would be advisable .

What a wonderful place. The atmosphere is so cosy, food is delicious and staff are so kind! My partner and I stopped by on our way back from exploring the local forest with our little corgi and felt very very welcome. Amazing experience. We will certainly be coming back.
Oh my, food absolutely lush, had pork medallions very tasty, husband had chicken strips ratatouille enjoyed very much, service excellent, lovely friendly staff, Sue & Phil very lovely people, gave us a few ideas of places to visit in area, 1 being Thirsk with white horse. Definitely recommend food.

Good service and excellent food for our Anniversary meal. We were staying at Huby, the next village and we're definitely impressed with this place. If you are around, book in and give it a try.
