Bombay Bites

Nice entree and main course - not too salty like other indian restaurants that we’ve been visited. Chicken korma was delicious. Lamb rogan josh was nice too. The service for main course was quite long, more than 20 minutes after he cleaned up the entree plates, even though we told the manager (maybe?) when he was taking the order, to serve all together. The portions were fair enough for using groupon voucher. That guy said the voucher we bought, didn’t include dessert: mango kulfi. We checked the voucher description, well it included. His excuse was some customers purchased tue vouchers that included dessert, but current vouchers are different, and they couldn’t change the description. When we were about ordering mango lassi, we had to wait he come out from the kitchen as he was talking too long, didn’t pay attention at front. The space is quite small, 7 tables for 2 people each table. So he should be able to monitor outside, rather than spending too much time at the back.

We had dinner last night 2 adults and 2 children and had been greeted well by the lady on front desk and the owner. Having eaten Indian Cuisine across various countries and in the UK our expectations had been high. Despite it being a bijou restaurant it was very welcoming by the staff and the food was absolutely superb the chicken was all cut from the breast, lovely and tender and lots of authentic flavours. We had tried a complimentary dish as well that we had never had and that was actually our favourite dish. Excellent food, excellent staff and the owner is very kind and considered that clearly takes pride in his food. Keep up the great work Prachin Indian team!

I have been an admirer of Indian cuisine for long. The ancient tales, the aromas coming from the spices invoke me. So when this Prachin Indian Restaurant in Westminster opened, I rushed to taste the food. Since then I come here regularly to get the taste of the Best Indian food in Westminster. I would like to add, despite serving Indian food which is known to be hot; they served me a perfect blend of spice, hot and sweet that I can freely eat without crying or turning red. It is great work you guys are doing. Keep serving delicious Indian food.

Ill start off by saying the main course was excellent! However when we got there the employees were loudly 'arguing' in the kitchen, giving a weird vibe on arrival, but we ignored this and ordered. The restaurant was tiny, dead quiet, no music at all, and our waiter was watching soccer on full blast on his phone at the front desk when we were the only people there! The entrees came out questionably fast, and even though the restaurant was dead quiet we could not hear any cooking sounds at all coming from the kitchen which was also weird (this did not affect my rating). We were treated very nicely when spoken to, but they should also be considerate of what they are doing while people are eating there, otherwise only offer take out.
