My mother in law had her 60th birthday dinner here, there was 30 guests in total in the conservatory area, it was a great night! All the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and very patient with the ever changing minds of the kids �
Special thanks to the manager though (apologies I never caught his name) he went out his way to make sure everything was just right, rearranging tables, arranging the balloon delivery, keeping the cake chilled and presenting it after the meal... just so helpful.
The food... I dreamt about the famous Wallace Burger all week lol, however, this was not an option on the menu that evening. The manager arranged to have it made for us and it really was no problem. And I was not disappointed! No complaints about any of the food and clean plates all round... kudos to the chef! Food and drinks all reasonably priced, it’s a nice cosy, family friendly, laid back place. Can not recommend enough.

Just wanted to drop a wee review. I have visited this place for years as it is only a couple mins walk from home it's a very family friendly place the food is out of this world and the staff are extremely friendly and will always go out of their way to help/accommodate you. Highly recommended to anyone.
Great menu with a huge range which accommodated for a range of allergies and diets. Lovely staff and excellent service.
My partner and I went here for lunch yesterday. The food was served quickly, was hot and tasted great. The service was excellent, and staff very polite and friendly. We will definitely go back.

We visited for lunch. This place has unreal home made pub grub, anyone I know who has been raves about the steak pie, and I am now one of them.
From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcome, the service was top class. It has a warm cosy atmosphere and was very relaxing.

Staff here are always very pleasant and helpful. The food is and has been consistently very good over the many years I've visited.
Today I ordered the ham salad and the portion of actual salad was Very poor and more of a side salad portion which was very disappointing. I won't let it put me off just won't order salad again .
Had lunch on Sunday with family and some old friends From the moment we arrived greeted at door by a gentleman with a welcoming smile. And a friendly hello from all the staff. It was the start to a perfect visit. Food. drinks. service.. all you would expect. Thank you Hollybank for making our lunch so special. Just Perfect.
Great little restaurant. The waiter was extremely friendly, clever, and witty, with good knowledge of the menu.
As this was one of the first places in which we ate in Scotland and are used to dining later, we accidentally overstayed our welcome and kept the staff from closing. Despite this, all staff were very friendly.
The food was great - I had the Wallace burger topped with haggis. This was my first experience with haggis and it was very good!
Highly recommend checking this place out when visiting the city.

Carribbean chicken curry, quite splendid. The Hollybank is reliable to a fault. Food always promptly served and with a smile. I've been through the menu (fish excepted)and I sometimes have to "tailor" the dish as I'm a picky eater. It's never a problem. I go to other places when being entertained by friends but I always come to The Hollybank ready to be spoiled and I always am. In short, they never let me down.
Great place for something to eat. Service really good and quick. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices and loads of choice.

Went for a bar lunch with my husband. It was 1st time in ages since we had been there. Food, atmosphere was amazing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended
