Great place to get a coffee and cake. Nice place to visit regardless, but especially good if your interested in plants or aquatics. There's a friendly wee robin inside that's fun to try and spot (video). Probably only in winter tho. The Fishkeeper Scotland inside is really good. There's other pet goods in the Dobbies as well. Even has a Sainsbury's inside so you can get a grocery shop done too.

Debbies is one of my Favourite places to shop, I always enjoy shopping here however it could be slightly pricey and in the same time it’s easy to spot some really great deals. It’s really well stocked so you will most probably find what are you’re looking for and even more. From all sort of outdoors and indoors plants , herbs , gardening equipment , pet food , pet accessories , live fish and aquatic plants , ponds and ponds supplies etc, also it’s accommodated with a nice restaurant / Cafe for breakfast and coffee, also there is a small Sainsbury’s section there. Overs all it’s a beautiful garden Center worth exploring. Advantages: Easy access and plenty of parking space

What a wonderful place to buy flowers and plants. Stop in and have a spot of tea and a cake or treat. Let you young children play in the soft play area.

Came in this afternoon to purchase a tree. Wasn't quite sure what we were looking for and was about to leave when i was approached by a very helpful gentleman called Douglas. He spent much time showing us different varieties, explaining how to nurture them and how they progress throughout the seasons. Very friendly and his knowledge is outstanding. Extremely pleased with our purchases. Would definitely return and seek out Douglas for any future gardening purchases.

Excellent quality, though a bit pricy for meals. Fantastic selection of plants, tools to suit all garden needs.

Usually good, wide selection. At Christmas they have quite a few items you will not find elsewhere. A pleasant surprise is that their fresh Christmas Trees are fresh, well taken care of, reasonably priced and you will be cheerfully assisted in picking out your tree. As usual once you find someone who works there they are helpful

Went here for Santa grotto for the kids. Best grotto around really can't be beaten. The rest of the store is very pleasant and staff are friendly. Breakfast is good value and food in general is very nice. 2 free from KS a month if you are a member which more than pays for itself if you use the free drinks.

I recently visited Dobbies in Stirling was looking for indoor and outdoor plants. Firstly met Carol who was not only a fountain of knowledge but such a lovely helpful person who clearly takes her job seriously. The we met Claire outdoors who not only gave us great advice but also helped get s very large plant into a very small car. Well Done Dobbies these two members of staff made it a joy to visit. Excellent for lunch, or coffee tea and cake. All the staff are friendly and willing to help. This is one of my "go to places". The Restaurant provides good professional and friendly service and good views. In good weather it is great sitting outside in the sunshine with your coffee. Then a gentle meander through the plant section to see what is available and increase one's knowledge of plant names, colours, scents, both perennials and annuals, height and spread and hardiness (H factor).
