The Arden Arms - Stockport - Photo album

What a lovely pub... Totally dog friendly and the staff were amazing. My partner had the shepherd's pie that's in the picture. We can't thank the staff enough for the welcome and fuss they made of our dog also. We don't live in the area but the reviews and the fact that they are dog friendly made us
I left a five star review seven or eight years ago and have never had cause to rescind any part of it. I am mildly surprised to see that yesterday I apparently replaced that review with another five star review without any comment (likely due to my own ineptitude). I don't recall the exact detail o
Ric's first visit to this great Robinson's pub. A regular in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Famous for the food. Sunday roast at £10.50 gets really busy. .. Already busy at 12.30 on a cold February Wednesday afternoon. Yasser Arafic having a great pint of Dizzy Blond. Ric on Veltins. Fantastic heritage
We were passing through and stopped in for the Sunday roast. We were not disappointed with the generous portions, the good value and the warm, traditional pub atmosphere. My only complaint is that I was too full to try one of their puddings.
Great food good selection on the menu. Attentive service. Outside dining area available. Would definitely visit again .
Beautiful old public house with lovely staff. The food was bang on and the place was very tidy. Will be visiting again. Great pub to start off if you are visiting as a tourist as there are so many attractions nearby including the market.
Fantastic food best meal I have had for a while, the staff were lovely and definitely will be returning
Been years since I frequented this pub but tonight we ventured out from Sale to see our friend play Bass with the Blues Blasters. Checked with the landlord (I presume) what time kick off was and he was very helpful. We went away and had a rubbish meal in the centre of Stockport and then returned for
Excellent food, imaginative menu, well presented. Friendly staff, rapid service - very reasonable prices. Really enjoyed our visit.
First time visit on a Sunday late lunch at 2.30pm. My son and I had the roast beef lunch which was very good at a great price. Home style roast beef lunch, great service, good beer (dizzy blonde) which I think is the only decent beer Robinsons brewery do (I'm sure others may disagree). Really impre
A rare sunny evening allowed us to sit outside drinking. Excellent Robbies bitter. Decided to eat as well. The food was good, though one of our number had to ask for a doggie bag to complete the eating experience at home!
Came here with my wife after she had visited solo on a recommendation. I found the food to be very tasty. I had the focaccia starter and the cheese and onion pie. The starter was very colourful and delicious and the chips were crispy and so tasty, with skin on. The pie was very very good too. My wif
The menu was interesting and had something for everyone. The food was gorgeous and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!
Not a bad little pub at all! Lots of small rooms. Very traditional feel. Robinson's beer on offer, so don't expect anything fancy. One cool thing was walking thought the bar to get to one room! (It's the only way!) This pub has been arround for years. Should give you the real Stockport experience.
Another cracking pint of stout at super market prices. The one l had at home later (same price) wasn't as good.... No better way to finish a Sunday shop in Stockport
I've been for an evening with live music, and also for Sunday lunch, both times have been really enjoyable. The only recommendation would be a veggie Sunday lunch option, ..and a few more veg with the Sunday lunch. We will go again
Always great staff, beer and food here for really reasonable prices We come here alot for meals of all occasions. Menu is always upto date plus specials and they are happy to accommodate any requests (Pics from various visits)
