Lord Of The Pies - Stockport - Photo album

Boy can this place do pies!! The fillings are stunning, and cooked to perfection. No soggy bottoms in sight! Very traditionally presented, on a lawyered plate, with choice of mash, peas, braised cabbage, gravy etc. I had steak, ale and mushroom and it was astounding. I went back again the same week!
I've given it 5 stars as I used to buy the pies from the Stockport cafe. Always good. Last Sunday I was looking for the cafe in Macclesfield but it is no longer there. There is a delivery service online now. I do hope Oliver the chef is alright.
Great pies. The mash and gravy were average, and it is a little pricey at £6 for the 3. The beef and blue cheese pie was absolutely delicious though, so it makes a nice treat, and it’s good to support local, independent businesses.
Very nice pies. Had the special (vegan one) and pork and black pudding, both tasty. This was a takeaway, but you can also sit down and have mash and gravy etc. with your pie.
There is always a wide selection of different pies available to try. While I can't say I've tried them all, I've certainly tried a fair few of them. The pies are always lovely (REALLY lovely) but I find the mash potato to be a dry, presumably because they make it in large batches and then reheat. Ap
Premium pies, nice guys. Tasty premium pies, had a mix up and was given the wrong pie, went back and got it swapped with no complaint, i'd even eaten half of it, whoops. They are a little expensive but it's a nice treat every now and then instead of poundbakery to support a local business. Not the
Just perfect when you are really hungry and want some comfort food. No nonsense massive pie!
Didn't think I was a pie person but popped in for a takeaway because of the good reviews I'd read. Had the Stockport Pie and Pork and Bury Black (on different days!) - both delicious. Will be returning to sample the rest over the next few weeks. A born again Pie Person.
Mmmmm gorgeously made fresh pies. Fantastic menu. Recommend the Stockport pie. Service is quick and friendly. Some may think it's a bit pricey but make up your own minds and I'm sure you will go back again.
It's a simple concept but like all simple concepts it is difficult to achieve greatness. Lord of the Pies however succeeds where others fail. The Pies are tasty but not overfilling. You can have them with mash and or gravy. I'm not a fan of gravy but the mustard mash is to die for. If you like Pies
Great pies for delivery or collection. 10/10 would recommend.
By far the best pie I've ever had the joy of eating. This tiny establishment offers a wide selection of exquisite pies and accompaniments, at surprisingly low prices.
Lord of the Pies offers some of the tastiest pies I've ever had! My ultimate meal: Beef & Ale pie with mustard mash, braised red cabbage and red wine gravy.
Nipped into macc to the bank and thought why not try out the pies, took a while to cook a take away pie but I realised why when I got back to work, the pastry was thick tasty and crispy the food was hot all the way through and the pulled chicken fell apart as I ate it, I would highly recommend the c
Wide choice of lovely pies , fast cheerful service from friendly competent staff. Choice of eat in or take away. An all together pleasant experience.
I'm of Caribbean descent. Normally I try Jerk Chicken at restaurants to be able to laugh at how it doesn't taste authentic. The jerk chicken pie here left me speechless. In a good way.
