The staff are delightfully friendly and have ensured the seating is well apart in a COVID-safe environment. The food: it is a rare treat to find a selection of poppadom dips that go beyond the usual suspects; add to this a particularly fresh vivid green coconut and chilli type dip (delicious with a dollop of mango chutney) and a couple of other additions and you get a most pleasant appetiser. On to the main course: i chose a fish and prawn curry (i forget the name) with a side of onion bhaji and pilau rice. The fish was gloriously soft and flaky and the prawns retained the texture and were not in the least bit chewy (hurray!) Add to this a couple of pints of Kingfisher and my bill came to just £21! If you fancy a curry i certainly recommend Kathmandu Restaurant.

Been going here regularly for years now. When we lived in the area went religiously every Saturday night. Unfortunately don't live as close but still make the drive every month or so due to lovely staff and great food Highlight is always the spicy onions that accompany the poppadoms, never seen them anywhere else

Fantastic food and friendly fast service and excellent generous food portions ,beautifully decorated ,clean,warm and friendly I'm so impressed I'm going for new year meal .in my opinion one of Stockport best restaurant you and your partner can have a feast for 22 quid and they cater for veggies .a definite jewel in Stockport give it a try you won't be disappointed.
