Great selection of cake and bakes as well as light lunch and snack options. The crockery matches the vintage feel of the surroundings - some quirky old china. The toilets weren't the best but otherwise a nice spot.

A very vintage tea room based in the vintage shop. Very fair price for a brunch and the cups and the teapot just amazing! Staff are very friendly, we asked for pain killer and they managed to find one for us, thank you 😇

A really nice tea room at the back of the vintage emporium. The cage is lovely with loads of room and a good selection of simple fare, served with a smile. The emporium has everything you would expect from a large vintage store, loads of stuff you recognise from your grandparents house if you are a certain age.

Lovely tea room next to my climbing wall, residing at the back of a huge antique shop. The cups and teapots are all different so you don't know what you are going to get! The food is generously sized (tuna melt) and does not leave you wanting. Really nice vibe, with the whole shop within view. A nice getaway from the norm.

I love this quirky tea room, gorgeous selection of homemade cakes, yummy sausage and egg naps are my favourite. I'd love it if they did bacon ones too. Beautiful selection of vintage tea sets for sale.

Great little cafe in the heart of Pear Mill. The staff are always friendly and the selection of tea and cake is amazing! Not the biggest selection of vegan options though.

Excellent place for coffee & cake. Also do sandwiches, etc. Great atmosphere.

2nd visit here and just as good as the 1st! It seems to be more popular than before and justly so. It was more busy, they could do with more staff but have to say not too long a wait and the food more than made up for it!

We visited the vintage emporium here which is brilliant in itself. Tea rooms added bonus. Go visit.

I regularly visit here with friends and family. Great sandwiches (I recommend the mozzarella, tomato and pesto or cheese, ham and caramelized onion chutney) and a wonderful range of tasty cakes. The music is a fantastic, eclectic mix that really sets the mood. We've always had great service and a friendly smile, no stress or rushing. A wander around the emporium afterwards is always a treat!

First visit today with 7 friends. What a great place. Obviously visitors with negative reviews went on an off day because we got great service. Great choice of drinks and food. The crockery was really quirky. Spent a good hour browsing the Emporium afterwards. Will definitely return.

Fantastic place. Loved every bit of it!!!
I had seen this quirky place on facebook and i just knew it was right up my street as i love all things vintage, retro and unique and it did not dissappoint.
We enjoyed some breakfast and a pot of tea from the tearoom situated on the same floor, which was delicious and the little touches on the tables of fresh flowers in the milk bottles and a boxes of dominos and playing cards to entertain us was great. We loved listening to the vintage jukebox playing in the background, good choice of music.
We was fascinated at how much furniture, clothing, crockery, vinyl records and accessories are on display. We couldn't keep our eyes still for a minute, there was so much to see. We would highly recommend this lovely place. We will definitely be visiting again as we didn't realise how big the shop was, so we have agreed to come back again to explore more and maybe next time take advantage of the lovely homemade cakes on display in the tearoom, they looked amazing!!!
See you again very soon

The Emporium is a fascinating place. We could have mooched around all day. And the tea shop is marvellous. Helen and Rachel are lovely. The Wimberry pie is magnificent.

Love spending a few hours just mooching ...always find something that makes us laugh. The cafe is fabulous and also well worth a visit, beautiful cakes and proper big pots of tea. You can take your pooch there too if you want, a very fun, relaxing and chilled place xx

Excellent place for a rummage through old stuff and excellent tea room too.

The best place for vintage in the North West in my opinion! So interesting and a great day out. I cannot leave without buying something and the cakes there are delicious 😋

A great place with plenty of space to browse as sometimes this type of establishment can get too cluttered. Everything is well laid out and theres lots to look at and try on. Bought 2 coats and will definately return

An Aladdin's cave of vintage loveliness, we whiled away a lovely couple of hours browsing the clothes, housewares, furniture and nicknacks, pausing for a cuppa in the fab tearoom...loved the vintage China, eclectic mix of 50s and 60s furniture, home made cakes under glass domes and dominoes or chess sets on the tables.

What an amazing place! An absolute feast of beautiful treasures, all lovingly displayed. I'm already regretting not buying more things, and I didn't have time to visit the café, so oh no how absolutely awful I'm going to have to go back again at the weekend ;-D

This is a lovely place for vintage shopping, big and spacious, well arranged-If you're not disabled. If you are it's entirely different, which is ridiculous. The 'disabled access' is not disabled access. It's a rickety old mill lift, which fair enough it's an old building- but it is not suitable as disabled access in the slightest. When you get out of the lift you're greeted by a messy back corridor and a locked door (which they had apparently forgotten to open an hour and a half after opening time) we had to call the store from the corridor to let us in! How is this even for a moment deemed acceptable? Leaving your customers in a locked dirty corridor because they're disabled and therefore don't have use of the lovely front entrance with the nice awnings, greeted but a staff member etc this is 2017 and this simply isn't good enough! Unfortunately the visit only got worse, on our way out, the door was for some reason locked behind us! Apparently disabled customers weren't welcome that day? This was only made worse by the fact the lift then wouldn't appear- either because it wasn't working properly or the old doors weren't being shut on other floors. So we were locked in this lovely dirty corridor for around 20 minutes while we messed with the lift. We then had to call the store back to come open the door again and try to get some assistance with the lift- there was no apology- no care given whatsoever to the disabled customer and family locked and now trapped on one floor due to to poor 'disabled access'. In the end up staff deserted us (after- guess what- pushing the lift buttons in a pathetic attempt to help) and one of us had to go downstairs to take the lift to the rest of us upstairs to try open it from the inside- again it didn't work and we had to resort to putting our hands into the mechanisms of the lift door to free the latch. Is that deemed suitable disabled access? You realise we would have had to call the fire brigade if all else failed? You cannot continue to call that disabled access that is not disabled access and that is not customer service. Not one of your useless staff members asked if we were ok, asked us to wait somewhere more comfortable, reassured us the problem was in hand and they were doing all they could. What kind of service is that?! Honestly every bit of it was abysmal. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again- because we can't. Simply because one of our party uses a wheelchair. This is 2017 and that simply is not good enough. Fix your 'disabled access' paint the sodding walls and sweep the floor of the entrance way for disabled customers- treat them as customers like everyone else and train your staff!
