Two Pairs Of Trousers
Wow! I am so impressed by The Hatters Coffee Company in Stockport! It is exactly the kind of coffee place I never thought we would have in this town. I have always travelled into Manchester for this kind of luxury but now I don't have to.
Apparently it has been there for about 9 weeks but I haven't seen it because it's been hiding behind road works since the place opened. The place itself is roomy and light with the most interesting furniture! The tables look as though they are made from old industrial cable reels - I don't know if they are or not, I didn't ask - and when they bring your coffee over, the sugar sits in the middle in a really cute and quirky tin bucket.
The staff are lovely and the coffee is delicious. I had a decaf latte and as much as I promised myself I was going to be good today, when I saw their delicious array of homemade cakes, I just couldn't resist one of their gooey brownies. Oh my days, I think this was the most delicious brownie I have ever eaten! I will definitely be back for more!
If you haven't tried it, you definitely should! You're in for a real treat!

Has to be one of, if not, the best cafes in Stockport. The coffee is fresh, and you can taste it. They also have an extensive tea selection if coffee isn’t your thing. They play pop music but with a jazzy twist. I find I can concentrate a lot easier with this in the background the something straight off the radio. They have a wide range of cakes and other confectioneries, I’ve tried a few and can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Great coffee, good iced tea, excellent food. Very promising new coffee shop in Stockport. Good vegetarian quiche, decent pannini. Really excellent cake, especially the strawberry cheesecake. Only negative - the seats are not super comfortable - maybe get some cushions?!

I dropped in here for an espresso and I was not disappointed.
I didn't have time to sample the food but what was on offer certainly looked good - in particular the excellent range of interesting cake.
The service was pleasant and efficient too.

we'd been meaning to call in here for ages, such a lovely place, couldn't recommend it enough, from the great coffee to the amazing home made cakes that are without sounding ott the best we've ever had in a cafe ( red velvet and a rocky road). The relaxed atmosphere and quirky design inside, the repurposed furniture and art work all just work together to make this place so different and enjoyable to be in.

Very nice place and lovely staff. Couldn't make up my mind what cake to have with my coffee as they all looked amazing and the pieces were huge. I ended up having a pinwheel shaped biscuit with a peanut / chocolate filling, very nice. The only downside for me was the coffee was quite small and for £3.00 I expected a bigger one. The pannini's looked amazing too with a lovely choice of fillings.
I would recommend the place to anyone.

This place is amazing! Had a goats cheese, cherry tomato and spinach warm sandwich. Lots of filling and fresh bread. Washed down with a loose leaf pot of tea. Couldn't resist a slice of banana cake! Went with two of my friends and we all enjoyed the food and the staff are warm and welcoming. Definitely be back soon.
