7 of us went for Father's Day 6pm. Unfortunately we were told there were no more walk in food orders.
We were hungry believe me and after a quick chat with the manager he kindly accommodated us and we had a lovely meal with desserts and drinks. 100% for the service!
Decent menu. I went for the chicken skewers on the hot plate with the choice of 2 sides. Will be going back there for sure.
Came for Lunch yesterday and it was amazing came out super quick and also was very delicious! Service was amazing cannot recommend enough.
8 of us came here for a family get together and the food and the service was fantastic!! The meals here are such good value and there is always offers on. There is something for everyone. The staff were extremely helpful and Jordan who took our order was ever so helpful when taking our order. Can't wait to come back 😊
I love coming to the Old Rectory, the atmosphere is always laid back and you can enjoy yourself there, there's plenty of seats to choose from, a more private booth or an open table area, whatever you need.
The food is delicious, I love their onion rings and the burgers, the portions are massive.
The staff is super nice and if there's an issue they are supportive and try to sort it out quickly.
Absolutely just a mega breakfast wow it was really nice.

Came in for my friends birthday yesterday, amazing staff, amazing food. I ordered the smoking jack burger, amazing presentation and good taste, worth the money. Food took about 15 minutes to come out but whilst waiting i indulged in a gorgeous cocktail. definitely will be back a true hidden GEM in stockport!
Me and my family came to the Old rectory for some food, we were quiet surprising with the welcoming team and delicious food. After me and my family finished our meals I asked for the kitchen staff; Cain and Charlotte I want to believe were their names. I want to thank them for the effort put in out food and the amazing time you all made my family and I have. 100% recommended!!

The burger sliders are abit of a carb overload but would make a great hangover cure or a sharer
Spoilt for choice but the Mixed grill never fails.
Just been for some lunch and I must say the food was lovely and came about 10 minutes after we ordered. We were served by the lovely Debbie ! I would come again just for the service she was very lovely and attentive. And she was also amazing with the little baby very inclusive. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.

We came today in between cinema visits with our two young daughters. We wanted quick food at a good price. I've had some bad experiences with hungryhorse venues before, mainly poor tasteless food, but I thought I'd give this particular one a go as I'd not been before.
The place was large with lots of choice of seating, the man serving on the bar was very friendly. The food was brought by a man with long hair who was very polite and asked us if we needed anything else.
But mostly, the best part about my visit was that the food was lovely! I am very quick to complain if something isn't as I'd expect it to be and I have done my fair share of giving feedback when I've felt its needed, but I find mostly and I count myself in this too that people don't particularly want to make time to Give good feedback when it's also warranted.
My youngest ordered the Katsu burger from the children's menu but requested that they served the sauce separately, which they did! She is a very picky kid who always finds one reason or another to complain about what's put on her plate, but she didn't complain, she enjoyed it! It was refreshing to see her eat a meal whilst we're out without moaning about something or other.
My older daughter got the macaroni cheese, and again, she enjoyed her meal.
My husband and I ordered and shared the crown of burgers and the Katsu combo, and it was very nice, especially the chicken wings, which were lovely and crispy!
So, Hungryhorse. Your Stockport restaurant has redeemed you in my books, we will be back to this particular pub in the near future.
