Best chippy ever .. STEAMED steak & kidney puddings no microwave rubbish .. proper chippy chips & gravy .. friendly staff .. always visit when in town
I have known George & Graham since i was a little cheeky kid who used to come in for a sneaky chip or some fish bits. These Guys did by far the best Pudding, chips, peas & Gravy ever. even after 22 years of living away i still crave their food. when ever i return home i always try get my usual tray to remind me of my younger days. i hope these guys last for ever. Excellent, friendly and efficient service. The food was also excellent. The staff were eager to meet all requirement. I recommend this chip shop without hesitation.
This is a little gem of a chippy, a proper traditional chip shop where i can get even get my favourite "Haggis and chips", there is always a choice of fish haddock or cod which is as fresh as you would buy at the seaside, fish and chips taste like they should and not like many of the anglo-chinese where they are fried in the same oil as a chop suey roll.

It's mint I love it I love fish and chips but depends really when I'm feeling naughty I go for the scollop curry and mushy peas would recommend it I really would
