Went for Saturday lunch can't fault it great value at £22:50 for 3 courses. Excellent camembert to start and the sausage and chicken for mains gorgeous tart tartin and chocolate mousse for dessert. Highly recommend a visit and many thanks to Adam the chef and Simon our waiter I will be back. Dogs we
Great experience, the building has great character and many of its original features. The staff were friendly and helpful and the steak was delicious! Will definitely be returning.
What an addition to Stockport! I went for dinner with a friend last night and Winters didn’t disappoint. Everything about the evening was great. The building is lovely. The food was really tasty and was served very promptly and piping hot. The things that really stood out was how reasonably priced i
Classic French cuisine in the most beautiful building in Greater Manchester's most atmospheric street. What's not to like? We had the lunchtime menu, which at £28 for 3 courses is superb value. Everything we ate was gorgeous. The girls serving us were delightful and friendly. We'll be back!
Lovely French restaurant, thought the food was delicious, not too fancy, just nice bistro classics done well. Good selection of dishes on the menu but not overwhelmed with too many choices. They've made the effort to provide a good number if meat, veggie and vegan dishes too which I was pleased with
It’s great that Stockport has a restaurant of this quality. Our favourite dishes are the ceviche as a starter. I thought it was quite a generous serve. For main the sea bass was our favourite. The fish was moist and perfectly served on a bed of green beans. I also thought the prices were very reason
Visited today. We had some lovely croques with frites at a reasonable price. Good bottled Belgium beer selection and an IPA on draft. We’re able to do a vegetable side for our baby. Prices were really reasonable and the waitress was friendly. We will be revisiting for the 3 course set lunch soon.
Best meal I have had in a longtime. Mushroom tart was perfect and beautifully balanced with the pine nuts. Hubby had the cote de beef and loved it. The crème brûlée was the best I have ever had. Will be coming back soon. Carly & Simon xxx
Amazing food - some of the best beef in Stockport and a really cosy vibe!
I was blown away by the flavours! French onion soup made by angels, Moules fritz from heaven and Apple and almond tart made by God! Staff were very attentive, great service, perfect portion size, very reasonably priced. House red wine was divine. I will be back very soon as I need to sample the whol
Had been planning to try this place for ages and it was worth the wait! We had 3 courses, bottle of red and a cocktail, and every element was delicious. Compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳 great value too!
What a lovely place! Having lived close for 17 years or so, I was never drawn to Stockport (sorry!) but this will change, and Bistro Marc is a good reason to start: this is not a "branded" French bistro, Marc is an actual French chef, and it shows: you'll find authentic and very well-constructed Fre
We went to Bistro Marc's for lunch today. What a wonderful building, with the newly restored clock and the retention of many period features. However, what was even better was the food and the service. For a very reasonable price we had three delicious courses that were obviously designed and pre
Really pleasant dining experience. Intimate feel to the place, attentive service and the food was simply perfection personified. The restoration to the beautiful, iconic building has been done sympathetically. I can't wait to return.
lovely meal last night. great to see the building in use again.
I took my parents for a meal at Bistro Marc’s on Saturday. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice to see every table full and people chatting at the bar. Thank you for a lovely evening and the beautiful food. I can’t recommend enough
Delicious home cooked French food, and unexpectedly a great selection for children's menu too. It's lovely to have this option in Stockport! Staff are friendly and we got to meet the chef too.
Great authentic french cuisine, the south african lad that served us was great at his job and very welcoming. Good drinks selection too!
