Nice little Teppanyaki restaurant. Food was excellent, the chef was friendly and and the host was lovely, providing great service. It was very quiet when we went (probably due to very bad weather). Prices were reasonable and the cocktails were nice. I would go again.
We had a great experience sitting at the Tappan grill, we sat with two other couples with a space in between each.
We ordered the 20 piece sharing platter to start which was very good.
One set meal and one tappenyaki dish, this was a good amount of food for us, it might be to much for some if you eat all of the vegetables.
The chef cooking right in front of you is entertaining, interactive and for us was good fun, all 3 couples were enjoying the meal (FYI we didn't know each other).
The sushi on the shared platter was of good quality for sure, if you wanted to sit at a table ie not the tappen grill, you could, well we could happily go in for just sushi and leave very happy.
We'll happily return for another meal there.
Many thanks to the team 👌
I visited the restaurant with my partner back at the start of July.
The staff were very friendly, willing to talk and generally helpful and informative when we asked questions about the food or ingredients.
The chef came to the table to cook on the hot plate, which was very entertaining and fun to watch how the food is cooked.
The sushi was lovely and I can't wait to go back to try more.
