Me and my better half went to The Codfather today for dinner. He ordered sausage & chips and I got patty & chips, we both got curry food was tasty however chips were just warm.
As we sat in our van eating our dinner. The lady out of the fish shop came waking over with two portions of fresh chips.
(I didn’t want to go and complain as sometimes this happened.)
However I felt the need to write a review as the customer service was second to none.
I also work in the food industry as a Customer Experience lead. And sometimes we don’t always get it right but rectifying an issue is always the best outcome.
The Staff were pleasant and very friendly and the hot chips really made my day. ( It’s the little things in life )
Keep up the good work. ….. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Stopped in to try them out, getting fish finger sandwiches and chips for me and the children.
Absolutely fantastic food and a great portion size, not one of actually managed to finish. We all rated it 10/10, well apart from one who insisted on 1000000/10.
The staff were very friendly, cheerful and chatty which is great as far as we are concerned.
Oh the prices were very reasonable especially considering the size of the portions.
We will definitely be back again and recommend them if you are looking for a great fish and chips 👍
Hi just been to the Cod Father in Stockton ,amazing ,proper cooked fish and chips in beef dripping ,we took them back to white water caravan site and we're still hot .will defo be back .( motorhome lady)
My wife went in today and we only had card, we couldn’t get cash back at the co-op so he gave us the food and said just drop the money in next week which was amazing of him to do (he even gave us fish and chips free for my dog who’s not long for this earth who we'd just took to the beach. I’m a business owner myself and I like to help people out too and it’s rare to get that these days. There’s a lot of good people running small businesses and we should look after them. Not been here for a while. Just had fish and chips, cooked by Paul himself. Seriously not had fish n chips so delicious in years. Absolutely spot on. Haven’t had better anywhere (including Whitby). 👍👍👍👍👍

Chips are much better now and the rest is lovely only downside now is need garlic

Best fish and chip shop IN THE WORLD good portion sizes big bloke has a great sence of humor and cheeks that compliment his face come out smiling every time just love it
