We booked The River Shack at short notice and we’re blown away by the ambience and character of the place in an ideal setting. We were welcomed and looked after very well. The food was delicious. It was a real find. We will definitely come back. Thanks to everyone that made it special.
I often spend time in this place. It’s very beautiful, delicious food and very nice staff! If you want to have a good time somewhere and not regret it, I really recommend this place. Try it at least once, I’m sure you won’t regret it!
A lovely location next to the water with an extensive menu. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable team. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
Delightful small high end cafe on the waters edge. Food , service and drinks were great , Not your usual cafe in quality location and service. Good value considering quality of food and service . Would return if in the area .
Lovely views across the river, only spoilt by bad weather, but all the same still a great atmosphere with friendly staff and good music

I’ve been to the river shack a few times now and it’s fast become my favourite place to go locally. Aside from the beautiful setting, The food is always fresh and amazing, the cakes are incredible and the coffee is delicious.

Had the most amazing breakfast at the River Shack! The food was incredible, some of the best pancakes I've ever had! Very generous portion size and great value too. Would highly recommend a visit.

The shack is situated where the tidal reach meets the river.
Lots of people and family's enjoying lots of water sports.
Very casual with great friendly and helpful staff.
Main menu is small but they have an outside pizza oven doing super fresh cooking.
