Everything was incredible, food, drinks, service and the venue. I had the camembert and nigiri for starters because the variety of choice was too good to choose just one. I then had the chicken skewer for main which was also full of flavour and the chips were perfect balance of crispy and fluffy. Finally had the dessert sharer with my friend and had a bit of everything we fancied which again was delicious. Presentation of everything was beautiful too, true care and attention to detail. Overall completely recommend 10/10 experience, will definitely be returning!

The atomsphere was mild (which is okay for me, maybe not for others). There was music quietly playing in the background and the general level of noise was lovely. You could easily hold a conversation at a normal level. Outdoor seating is available. Inside, the lighting is dime, however most if not all of the dining area have massive glass windows facing them, allowing a vast amount of light to come in and brighten the room, making it look more spacious. The staff were generally very polite and came over a few times to check to see if everything was okay, which is nice to see. Bear in mind it was a quite evening so wouldn't know if this is still obtainable during busier evenings. The food was great and well presented (as you can see via the pictures). I did have a bit of a problem with my meal in which the paper underneath my food started to break up and I accidentally started to consume it. Now I don't know if this is an error on my half or whether this incident could be a thing that The Orange Tree Bar need to be made aware of. I ended up not bringing it up with the staff. Hopefully they will be aware of it by reading this lengthy review. Plus any possible future diners will also be aware of it too. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would go and dine there again. If I could I would give 4.5⭐️

Very tasty meat, especially the steaks. Interesting idea with nigiri with meat, quite tasty. There is a genus of Sushi California, of course it's not really sushi, but still interesting. Stuffed hot breads are also tasty. The menu seems to be big, but there is nothing to choose but meat. Service is excellent, the girl listened to everything carefully and was quite polite. Interesting cocktails and wines. And excellent interior of the place.

Beautiful dining experience! My wife booked this place for us to eat out for the first time in ages (due to the kids🤣), and we were impressed with everything. From the food and wine(non-alcoholic) to the service and to the ambience. It was just right ✅️. Well situated off the Newcastle Road, it has ample capacity for parking. I would certainly go again and would highly recommend them over and over!

Went here for dinner with my sister. Lovely environment. Food is amazing . If you have the flattened steak you only get 2 options on how it's cooked though which is the only downside ,I ordered mine cooked all through (how they worded it) and it was lovely as it turned out rare and it's so tender so worth the money . Definitely going back.

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. Although it is a little more pricey than normal, there is a good choice and slightly more unusual range. Service was great, couldn't fault any of the staff at all! Negative was the amount of noise there. More consideration should have been given to noise reduction furnishings and lower volume music.

We met up as a half way point, our friend travelling from the south and us from the north. Food was immense and service was excellent. I really enjoyed my crabcake starter, miso salmon skewer and somehow got talked into a dessert of white chocolate and biscoff cookie dough too! 😂 My partner had the chorizo and halloumi skewers and the glazed bacon chop and the cherry tart loved these and our friend had the chargrilled sweet potato followed by the BBQ oyster mushroom on sourdough and then a chocolate brownie with a birthday candle 🙌 Service was on point throughout, venue was beautifully presented and really clean. I wish we were more local as I imagine we would dine here often, but regardless I imagine we will make the 1h 15m journey often!
