I went to a party upstairs. It is a nice venue with warm staff, down to earth good old courtesy. The buffet was excellent. There is street parking nearby.

We had a birthday party for my mums 75th and nothing was too much trouble at all and the Room is lovely. Steve and his staff were amazing. Food was magnificent. Highly recommend. We will hold all our parties here in future. We can’t thank you enough we had an amazing time.

We go for a meal at dinnertime. The Duke does a small menu for £4.95 and if u have a starter it is an incredible £5.50. The food is amazing for the price. Great portions & great quality. The homemade pies are a triumph. Don't expect a la carte just good hearty food. Give it a try!

Food was outstanding and when you look at the cost for a 2 course lunch meal at £5.50...it becomes unbelievable.
