We went on 22nd feb for our daughters birthday and they were fantastic couldnt do enough for us we even took a birthday cake and they saved it for us untill we were ready food was great to and the steak was cooked to perfection thankyou
Popped in for dinner after a day at Alton Towers.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Girls on the bar were hilarious and service was excellent.
We ate our weight in starters and enjoyed a few cocktails.
We stopped here for a drink on the way home from a coach holiday. It's a large and modern pub with a big car park in front. Looked clean and spacious inside. Family friendly. Clean toilets. There are a few outside tables in front of the pub and a larger outdoor seating area at the back. Cannot comment on the food as I only ordered a drink, but there was an extensive menu with a wide choice of pub favourites. Large well stocked bar. Bought a lime and lemon to drink outside. Very reasonably priced, and the staff were efficient and polite.
Absolutely loved our stay! The staff here are amazing and the locals that drink here really made our stay special. Keep up the great work Michelle and team.

Stayed at the hotel and used the restaurant.
The restaurant was decent, standard Hungry Horse with some really good deals to keep the costs down. The beer selection was good. Staff were lovely.
The hotel was fine, it was clean enough for me but as others have pointed out it desperately needs a refurbishment. The rooms did feel run down but I still had a good sleep. Bed was comfy and the shower was powerful (fixed head shower). Free parking with quite a lot of spaces.
I used it as a base for Alton Tower (just over 20 mins away). There's a Tesco with a fuel station next door which is handy. There's also a McDonald's if you don't fancy the restaurant.
I paid just over £90 per night for a Friday and Saturday. I think given that the rooms need a desperate refurb this price was quite steep. I'd definitely stay here again if it was a bit cheaper.
Final thing to note is that there's no air conditioning but the room was generally cool enough given the weather at the time. I did have to open the window to cool the room down at one point. With the window open and facing the rear of the property you can definitely hear the traffic from the adjacent dual carriageway. This might bother some people but I could sleep through it.
We stayed here for one night, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful, really haven't had such great service in a long time!
Food was the standard hungry horse, and the rooms were clean with good TVs that you can share your phone screen with, would not hesitate to go again.
The hotel itself is desperate for a good refurbishment. But the location is great.
Close to the main road and you get tesco with fuel next door and a 24 hrs McDonald's opposite.
I didn't stay for breakfast and didn't use the restaurant and bar so can't comment on the food.
The staff is very friendly. The receptionist went an extra mile to find me a room I could check in to very early afternoon.
Stopped off whilst charging the car. Very pleased with the service and menu, couldn’t fault it.
The menu is standard chain pub, but the service made this visit a memorable one.
I used the app to order from the table, so convenient and saved the queue at the bar 🥳.
Perfect position size for the kids and the adults, and the brownie dessert for children was a hit.

Was up for a night. Went there twice as it was easy. Both times food was great. Quick service. Very friendly staff. Nice outdoor area. Not bad value. Clean and modern.
Great hotel for an Alton Towers trip. Rooms offer value for money with free hotel parking. Restaurant is cheap and offers quick tasty food after the park. Staff are amazing in this hotel and restaurant. A really friendly hard -working bunch.Hotel/ restaurant is in need of a refurb in my view.
Amazing food, really fast service even when it was busy. We got seated straight away. Nikki & Chloe and the lady on the host stand were all amazing!
A fantastic experience. We went as a group of 10 from school and they were so accommodating. The food was excellent and the value was superb. Would definitely recommend.
Popped in for some lunch and it was very nice , bonus they accept blue light card .
On the food my partner had Korean burger says it's 1 green chilli hotness but it's got red chillies on the burger and if you eat the seeds it's hot - I had the same in Cheadle hungry horse and was the same - very nice but they need to change the rating .
On arrival I sat down and stuck to the seat - see picture , and why are Cheadle and Meir's toilets gross - this isn't a recent we haven't cleaned issue they have both had disgusting toilets for years - see pictures .
Had a meal in the restaurant. Was excellent. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The food is freshly prepared as you wait and is delicious.
