I have just moved to Brown Edge and have had so many people recommend The Top Pub for food. I was definitely not disappointed. The pub, gardens and restaurant look very welcoming. They are a dog friendly pub which is great for us. The staff were lovely, so friendly and really helpful. All of the fo
Even though this pub is close by, today was the first time there, and let me say it did not disappoint!! Best roast in a long time. This is no cheap carvery. It's a proper hearty Sunday Roast. The food was spectacular! The management was lovely and so welcoming, and the waitress was the sweetest and
We had a booking for 24 of us for a sit down meal on Father’s Day and 2 birthdays. We did a pre order on the meals to help the chefs and waiting on staff. The food is out of this world, all home cooked, fresh and just delicious! They cater for everyone. All of us have recommended The Top Pub to f
Called today for lunch without booking. Lovely, clean, cool pub on one of the hottest days. Quite possibly the best meal we've had out this year. Fantastic prawn linguine, perfectly cooked steak and the absolute best garlic bread and chips. Quick, friendly service, water and treats for the dog and o
Food was good. There appeared to be a number of new staff on the day we visited so a few minor issues there but everyone was friendly. Nice environment would go again
If you're wondering whether to go to the Top Pub for reasonably priced great food and good friendly service, you will not go anywhere better. We've just been and it was delicious the home made pies with tender steak in, with chips and the biggest bangers with mash and peas, all came piping hot. Ge
The staff are lovely. The place itself is clean, tidy, and well looked after. Food was good also. Would definitely go again if we lived in the area. Was over visiting family

Tapas night and all the extras we ordered were amazing. One of the best meals I’ve had. I’d give back across the country for a portion of the chips!!
Sat outside, 2 dogs, it was a boiling hot day, dog friendly, treats, were asked if we wanted water bowl but we had our own, no shade lets it down
Had lunch today at Top Pub and it lives up to its name. As a coeliac i find it very hard to get a gluten free meal i can tuck into. I had cauliflower soup and fish and chips which were delicious. Great service too. The girl who served us was very pleasnt . Thank yoou all.
We called and booked ahead on recommendation for the bank holiday monday eat out to help out. It was our first meal out since the lockdown so we were unsure what to expect. We were seated at our table in the marquee. Tables were spaced appropriately and I was very happy in the marquee as the room wa
Food was out of this world good! Staff very friendly, lovely pub would definitely be returning 😀

Music selection was one level quite boring,no added extras for kids which is simple to do, crayons, colour single pa
Lovely pub, clean and excellent foods. Prices are absolutely reasonable, would say it's cheap for the quality of foods I recieved. Good portion sizes. Glad I took my family there really
We visited The Top Pub after a walk with our dog. The food and drink we had was lovely and the outside area was really well presented. We found the pub to be very dog friendly with treats in jars on the bar. The only thing we felt was due to the set up for food service the inside didn't feel like a
