Really good authentic country pub that’s under new management. Staff were very attentive and the food was good value for money. My only critique was the menu advertises “2 courses for £11.95” to which we did main and desert and when we got the bill this campaign wasn’t applied. When we asked the staff they explained it was only on certain sections on the menu which wasn’t very clear. That said the food was worth the money and we had a nice meal so didn’t let it leave a sour taste.

Enjoyed a reunion dinner here. Food good, large portions, quick service with such a big party. Toilet facilities clean but doors need attention, locks. Would visit again.

Gorgeous food and decent size portions. Lovely clean and cosy surroundings. Myself and 4 friends visited for the first time and we all said that we’d return. We all ate from the 2 courses for £11.95 menu. I had broccoli and cream cheese bake followed by raspberry and white chocolate roulade. The staff were friendly and soon sorted out the bill after an error. Highly recommended!
