Called in yesterday for a breakfast. Staff were straight over. Had a small breakfast and it was beautiful. Don’t normally eat fried bread but it was so nice. Well done young lady that was cooking. Been going kooks since it opened. That says it all ! Thanks Andy & staff

Here on holiday from New Zealand and I had the whitebait and the fresh fish and it was amazing! Some of the best fish I have ever had. The staff are so amazing and friendly. It is a must go if you are in the area

Served by a pleasant waitress, food arrived hot and fresh. Had my fair share of bad experiences in chippies and was dragged into here under pain of death by my partner and it totally blew me away, this place really knows how to feed people and knows what the word fresh really means. Met a very pleasant owner who informed us he had been there for 28 years, well worth a visit and will definitely go again.
The best cafe in the area and for that matter surrounding areas for that matter. Service is excellent all the girls are really friendly. Food is fantastic, breakfasts are brilliant for the money. Me and my brother are regulars.
Our go-to for tasty food- today we were going to grab a bite from the Captain and get hot chocolates afterwards from Starbucks up the road. Noticed that Captain was doing festive hot chocolates, look at the mugs they came in 🥰 Captain Cooks festive hot chocolate > Starbucks
I'm always skeptical about ordering from new places but the food was absolutely delicious! The pie was so soft and warm, everything was perfect. Will most definitely be reordering again! 10/10
