What a great day out. We had a guided tour taking in the history of the potteries. Great buildings, very interesting tales of peoples lives and work around the potteries. Had a wonderful lunch and then had a go at making a pot. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend it as a day out.

Liked looking around at the various exhibits. The cafe food & drinks were very good, well worth a visit.
Well worth a visit. A very good range of pottery history and the Staffodshire Hoard to boot! Could easily spend 2-3 hours just browsing. Maybe a day of you have a strong interest.

I do enjoy it here, but the natural history part and some other sections could definitely do with some modernisation, I guess this is due to funding; that said other parts have recently been improved and are definitely worth a visit. Spitfires and pottery This is by far the biggest undiscovered gem in the country. Where else could you see the largest collection of cow shaped pottery creamers under one roof, along with a spitfire and part of the Staffordshire hoard. A truly epic museum for all the family
Great museum with free entry. Staff are extremely friendly and are more than willing to help. I highly recommend seeing the spitfire and the Staffordshire horde. If you do visit please leave a donation so the museum can stay free and can continue to run
