We are so lucky to call the Roshni our local curry house, as normally we have takeout. Tomorrow is my birthday so it was great to celebrate with Sunday lunch at the Roshni. What a treat! Today we had a mixed platter of starters and we loved them all, particularly the fish pakora. We enjoyed a selection of currys, chicken tikka masala, lamb curry and chicken curry in a bangladeshi style. Everything was lovely, many thanks

I live in NYC and nothing compares to the Roshni! The food is impeccable, the service is 5 stars and Sam & team are the most accommodating and welcoming staff imaginable. My family and I always go out of our way to eat daily at the Roshni when visiting Stoke-on-Trent! My only complaint would be they don’t deliver overseas or have a location in the USA!
5 star rating for food as it was excellent we came for the banquet menus which we ordered not very good explanation over what sides available so we ordered food it all came very nice asked for the bill which came to see it was more than we expected we made a query to be told rice wasn't a side again excepted that the mix up but to be charged nearly 30 pound extra for 4 nan's a pint a lemonade and chips is not right I don't think we will be back after this such a shame....
Literally the best curry ever and the staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. If you havent ate here before then you must go as its just divine. 5 stars from me

The quality of food here, whether you're eating in or taking out, is excellent.
The depth of flavour is really good and unlike some Indian restaurants, every dish here looks and tastes different.
The helpful and friendly staff look after you well and nothing is too much trouble.
Our absolute favourite Indian restaurant and we travel past many others to get to it, even for takeout.

Lovely restaurant. Had takeaway which was piping hot, even when we got home 10 mins away. Food was delicious. Service was quick and efficient, restaurant spotlessly clean. Atmoshphere and decoration was lovely so will be coming back to eat in the restaurant as well as takeaway.
First visit this evening for my son's birthday. The staff & service were excellent & attentive. The food was perfect, and well presented. They even gave my son a birthday drink. Very clean restaurant with lots of choice. Would highly recommend and definitely be visiting again
Massive choice and plenty of different dishes to try, reasonably priced and good tasty food. We were a little cramped up a corner next to the constant air freshener but apart from that it was clean and tidy. They have a bar with standard draft beers, wine and bottled beers, along with the usual soft drinks.
First time we have been in years everything thing was lovely food, staff and the restaurant we will definitely be back. 👍👍👍

Our first visit her and I have to say it was excellent! One of the best Indian’s we have had and definitely the best in the area. The food was delicious, plentiful and the naan breads were just perfect. With a few drinks each it was around £30 a head including starters and that price was represented in the quality of the food.
Staff were lovely and friendly and the restaurant itself was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We went for a birthday meal celebration on a Tuesday evening, it was very quiet in there (understandably) but it didn't spoil anything. We are local and will definitely go again.
I've heard some other locals saying it is expensive but I don't think so at all, especially for the quality of food. £10 for your average curry (£11.50 for my special tandoori chicken murgi masala), £2-4 for your rices, can't remember naan bread prices sorry (but they were lovely and soft! Small coke £2, fruit juices £2, pints £4-5, wine similar. Pints of beer tend to be pricey in Indians anyway. You can't take your own booze.
We all had a different curry, portion size is just right (not massive and not tiny) and flavours were lovely.
Can't wait to go back. Table layout is better than it used to be and I can imagine a great buzz at weekends.
Staff were attentive and friendly, especially with my children. They had half portion of curry between them for £6.

Food was splendid, I enjoy hot and spicy food and after the waiter made his recommendation I was thrilled with the choice! Ambience of the blue lighting and perfectly laundered white table cloth, with mirrored surroundings it was the perfect place for a romantic meal. Staff were very friendly and the finishing touch was being offered an after eight mint!.....one of my favourites, I can see this being a regular place that I will visit so a big thank you to all the lovely staff there. 👍

Just had a ‘collection’ take out ( 1830hrs, Saturday 26 March )from Indian Ocean. Very very nice…….Had two Balti’s one mixed, one chicken as we were playing safe……Very pleasant and polite staff on the pick up.
Definitely use them again.
